Oregon Scientific SG268R Smart Globe Adventure AR Educational World Geography Kids - Learning Toy

The only thing my 6-yr-old son asked for for his birthday was a globe. This globe is A-MAZ-ING!!! He has learned so much in 3 months and people just gape at him when he starts telling them where each country is located, what it’s capital is, what their official language(s) is/are, and on and on. It has several games on it including a geography challenge and when we have guests, they all are drawn in by this globe...both adults and kids alike. This was worth EVERY...SINGLE...PENNY! Honestly, knowing what I know now, I would pay double.The only 2 things I could say could use improvement are that the stylus/pen isn’t as sensitive as I’d like and also, the music/voice is extremely loud when you first turn it on. However, there is a volume control. I would highly recommend this globe!

The globe is great! It’s loud and doesn’t have a volume adjuster. The pen is pretty accurate but you really have to place it flat against the location. It’s a great learning tool and we will use it for many years as there’s a lot of geographical knowledge here. My four year old is currently working on continents. Later we will dive into states and eventually countries in each region.

Pretty interactive. Granddaughter loved it. I think overpriced.

I bought this for our 4 year old and they absolutely love it. Its very accurate. We aren't crazy about the 3D app all that much. Its pretty neat but kind of finicky so we dont use it as much. I have globes to be rather pricey object so I figured this was a good price that can provide feedback. The games are good as well.

My wife and I bought this globe for our two grand daughters, ages 2 and 5, and they love it. We bought a talking puzzle of the USA for our older grand daughter a few years ago and she easily transitioned from the flat puzzle to the round globe. Both are using the globe to learn about the world and they especially like the songs played from each country.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this item from amazon warehouse as the price was little lower than actual price. The package came in original box with minor dents like tapes at some places to the box which was as mentioned in the warehouse listing. Even before buying this product, i reached out to the warehouse to check if the product functions properly or not.After turning on the pen tool, it says loudly "Welcome to the oregon scientific globe. Please press something on the panel to start a game". I tried several times and none of the functions work and it looks like broken piece was sent to me.Overall, a bummer and had to switch over to leapfrog smart globe.

Bright colors, easy to read countries, locations. Has North America and seems easy to get information.Grand child should be interested in this for his birthday.That being said, I was so disappointed when it had no animals with it. Couldn't you have printed in the information "no animals included". Still would have bought, but feel like we were cheated by pictures and didn't get animals. Please change your information. Still good product. Disappointed great grandmother

This is such a great toy/learning device for kids! My 5 yr old and 8 yr old love it! I was very pleased with the colorful design and eye catching details. Another cool thing was, we got to try it out instantly. The Smart Globe came with batteries all ready to go! 5 stars from this mom!
