What it means is that this is not the British version. This is an "Americanized" version, formulated for US market tastebuds. I brew my teas with filtered water and the difference in taste between the UK and US versions is significant. If you want the real thing, this is not the product.

It means it is blended for US palettes. US tea drinkers typically prefer a lighter version of UK blend. If you are looking for the UK version you will be disappointed.

Apple and oranges. I grew up drinking all kinds of teas. Picking a tea is like picking a wine. In other words, what’s the occasion? Breakfast, afternoon, etc. This is my hands down favorite in the morning. It has the color of weak coffee but with a very robust flavor. Give it a try.
