Fun blaster, works well.
A blast! My kiddo loves it and it's fun, definitely on the heavy side but it doesn't deter my 9 year old lol he loves it so much.

We are a Nerf Family. Everyone gets a gun. But whoever is behind the trigger of this baby is smiling, and everyone else is running for cover.YouTube'd Nerf nerders for hours before picking this one. It does not disappoint. Awesome range, accuracy, and rate of fire. Even when throwing fire control to the wind, it does not empty the hopper "too quickly". Downsides: It is neither small nor light weight. At 28" long and weighing in around 4 lbs fully loaded, it definitely fills the Nerf "heavy gunner" role. Difficult for anyone smaller than a strong 10 yr old to run-and-gun with it, but they could absolutely hold down a fort. For teenagers and older, it would be difficult to find a better foam thrower. One thing you must get right every time: The hopper slide door, where you load the ammo, must be FULLY LATCHED CLOSED before the gun will work. There is an interlock switch. Also of note, as an ammunition type, the Rival rounds go EVERYWHERE. As opposed to shaft darts that hit-and-drop, or do a mild tumble, the Rival rounds are easily capable of travelling 20 - 30 ft, hitting a flat surface and ricocheting back past your ear. Indoors, expect to find them in overhead lighting, under kitchen stoves, and anywhere else you would never want to go looking for ammo. That said, they are soft and squishy and arguably hurt less than the shaft darts.

Very good, but takes 4 D batteries.
It shoots very far and doesn't hurt as much as the darts. The balls also stay on target better and seem to be less effected by air resistance.

Fun rapid fire battery operated gun
My daughter loves this gun! It was her favorite Christmas present. She's 7 so she struggles to cock a lot of the other spring loaded nerf rival guns. This one requires no such strength. Just press the button to spool up the firing mechanism and pull the trigger. It's able to shoot in short bursts or full automatic rapid fire mode. My daughter said the only thing she doesn't like about the gun is that since it shoots so fast she runs out of balls before the rest of us do. Haha we're shooting with various 10-15 ball rival guns. She doesn't seem to mind it but the gun is quite heavy, but as you can see not THAT heavy as my 7 year old wields it like a mini terminator. It's a bit pricy but as with anything I buy for my daughter it's worth it to see her joy and happiness.Ball velocity: I don't have one of these https://www.amazon.com/Ballistic-Precision-Chronograph-Slingshot-Velocity/dp/B0B5ZY8M4V to measure actual velocity of the balls, but just from sight and feel this gun doesn't shoot quiet as far or as fast as a couple of our other spring loaded rival guns.Battery life: Battery life seems pretty short. It takes 4 D cells! No wonder it's heavy right? I will probably by the rechargeable pack that nerf makes for this gun. When I do I'll put up a review of that as well. I hope someone finds this review helpful. My ratings:Fun factor: 5/5 but really off the chartsAccuracy: 3/5Ball velocity: 3/5Ease of handling: 2/5Ease of reloading: 5/5 (open sliding drawer and dump balls in that's it)Overall i definitely recommend this gun.

super fun
I got this for my younger son because he was jealous I had one. The downside to this gun is that the batteries it takes is insane (6 C-cell batteries I think?? and those are expensive). But I am here to tell you they also finally sell the rechargeable battery pack and that has been a life saver. This thing is super fun when you have one of those self flying saucer things, and then you use this gun to shoot that as target practice. OR if you have a drone, attach a mini toy of paper to it and try to shoot that. However, if you are like me and own a crap ton of nerf guns and ammo, then turn off all the nights in your house (nothing on but night lights and crazy metal music playing) then have a nerf war with the kids. Uber fun.

The Nerf guns of your childhood just grew up
The media could not be loaded. Get your geek on as this is the end all of all Nerf guns, it is truly awesome. Bought two, for myself and son to relive some childhood moments. Along with the rechargable NiCad power packs and extra ammo, the gun is insane. The gun cycles 100 balls in 40 seconds with accuracy, speed, and power for a good 80-100 feet. With a simple Lipo battery mod, you can have this gun cycling 100 rounds in 13 seconds with even greater speed and power. Check out the Head Shot replacement ammo on Amazon as they are less expensive and gives you more rounds for your money over the Nerf brand. And you will want more ammo. Our indoor battles have been hilarious, 200 balls flying all over the house in under a minute. Epic Battles. Wife however, is a bit less amused lol.

worst shopping mistake in history!
my boyfriend and i spent almost $400 dollars buying two of these guns with battery packs. we both work and i’m in college. when we finally got out to play Nerf wars at an event in our city. let’s say these were more than a disappointment. they shot slow. had terrible accuracy and jammed too many times to count. the button was temperamental and loud humming for at least one to two seconds to be able to shoot a ball at all. that’s when it decided to actually work. it was extremely heavy to run up and down two flights of stairs in an old hospital trying to not get shot. i was beyond disappointed. my boyfriend even resulted in using a pump action loaner off brand nerf style gun over this extreme waste of money and got better results. the icing on the cake due to having to really push this adventure into a crazy schedule we sat with these in the package for a bit. it was the very first and for sure the last time we use them. when we got onto amazon searching for the seller “ brian’s Toys”to try and return these once used nerf guns we were out of our return window so we literally threw $400 dollars out the window.
