High quality ingredients and perfect size for nano fish
I use Fluval Bug Bites small granules across multiple nano tanks and it’s been a great all around food. I feed it to bettas, pea puffers, corydoras, and kuhli loaches, and even my shrimp and snails will graze on it. Everyone loves it! The ingredients are solid. Black soldier fly larvae as the main ingredient is a big plus, along with fish protein and added vitamins. It feels much cleaner than a lot of filler heavy foods, and my fish take to it immediately. A little goes a long way, especially for nano tanks, so the container lasts a very long time. Overall, it’s a reliable staple food that works well for mixed community tanks with small to medium fish.

High-Quality Nutrition for Small Fish
Fluval Bug Bites are an excellent staple food for small to medium tropical fish. The granules are the perfect size for easy feeding, and the formula is packed with insect protein, which closely mimics a natural diet. My fish show great color and energy since switching to this food. It sinks slowly, giving both top and mid-level feeders a chance to eat, and it doesn’t cloud the water. A healthy, high-quality option that fish love!

Great Product
Fish like them and I like that they are small enough for nano fish to eat and also enough sink fast enough to reach the corydoras at the bottom. The quality is top notch and it is lasting a long time even with a 55 gallon full of fish, definitely worth the money to keep my fish healthy with the necessary nutrients.

Great food for platys!
High quality food! The granules were a bit bigger than I expected, so I do have to crush them up a tiny bit. I feed these to my platys, who gobble them up. Definitely worth the price!

High protein content and low waste!
I like to provide a variety of foods to my fish, and this one seemed a favorite to them. My most finicky fish is a Betta named Matisse; he liked it since day one so that surprised me. What I like about this food is it's high protein content and how it is processed. You can find links on YouTube to see how the food is made with excellent ingredients and not just filler. Its made primarily of Black Soldier fly larvae and salmon, so you know this is a great choice for your scaled darlings AND shrimp (some snails seemed to like it too). The food leaves very little waste, most likely because any inhabitants in your tank will rush to eat it :) The only cons (if you can even call it that) is that it isn't as "slow sinking" as the label describes. The food actually sinks very quickly. Another minor annoyance is that the granules vary in size. I have to manually sort the larger pieces between my fingers so I can get the right size for Matisse because he seems to not like the smaller pieces and if I just sprinkle the food for the fish in my other tank, the tetras end up having to pluck the food from the bottom of the tank since the food sinks so fast. Luckily, it is so delicious to them it is worth it...but, one of them already has some scrapes on his mouth from trying to dig for food between the gravel rocks. Overall, it is a really good primary food and you don't have to worry about them possibly getting infections from live food if your aim is to give them something that is high protein. Worth the try!

Great! Better than flakes.
I’ve really liked all of the Bug Bites fish foods. I have a community tank with panda cory, tetras, gourami, gudgeon, neocardina shrimp and several different snails and everyone loves this food. I use flake and this food to make sure everyone eats in all columns of the tank but once the flakes run out I’ll only use this. The grains are easy to feel good about the amount you are feeding. For some reason flakes always surprise me on how much I’m dropping in and then it’s too much or not enough. The grains also work excellent in the auto feeder over vacation as opposed to the flakes.

Fish Seem to Love These
Good size container, easy to open and close, and it keeps the food fresh. The fish seem to love these granules, and they have a good float to sink time ratio, so the fish have time to eat them at all water levels. Good value for money, will be ordering again.

Best dry food I've found so far
The only thing my fish like more is frozen food, My tiger barbs especially go crazy for it, It feels like I'm pouring it in the tank just so my corries can even get some.

This thing came unsealed, plus it says on it (slow sinking) and it should have said (immediate sinking!!) Very disappointed i dont know if the sinking thing is because it wasn’t sealed or because of something in the product.
