An excellent test kit. Good selection of electrical tools for the home DIY for a reasonable cost. Did some initial testing after receiving and it appeared to work well. However have not had the news to test all settings on the MM (e.g. current). I was surprised that kit still contained the discontinued MM300 and not the MM325 that replaced it. Definitely still workable, but was a bit disappointed to find. Would recommend.

Really like this. Quality is nice, the controls and simple yet intuitive. The only thing that bothers me is there is no current meter. Not something that I need frequently if at all really, but lacking that keeps it from being a real multi-meter, in my opinion, which I guess is why it’s a multi-tester and not meter.

It is easy to use, not too complicated and perfect for the home owner. I have used it to track down a fault on a low voltage landscape lighting set and it proved to be a great tool to have. Very happy with the purchase and would buy again. It is also a great way to check GFCI outlets.

First off, I want to clarify that I am not an electrician, but my brother is and he helped me a lot. I had an issue with one circuit in my house. It started with my living room light going on and off. Then the problem got worse. Everything on that circuit quit working and I turned the breaker off. I have a multimeter, but I am not qualified to troubleshoot with it. So, I bought this because of the circuit tester. The shipping was good I had it within 2 days. The circuit tester is so easy to use, and it is the best way to troubleshoot wiring problems. I plugged it in, and it showed open neutral. I opened every plug, switch and light on that circuit. All the wiring showed good. I was about to give up when I began to look for a hidden outlet. I found it behind my sofa. I plugged the tester in and it showed ground and hot crossed, which means a short. I opened the receptacle, and it had melted one side of the plug. Luckily, the wiring was not too damaged. I replaced the receptacle, and the problem has been resolved. For $40 this saved me a lot of money and some time diagnosing the problem. I am not an electrician, but I do have some knowledge about electricity and wiring. The multimeter is accurate, and the tester is very useful for troubleshooting. It is easy to read and simple to use. It also comes with a proximity tester to insure everything is off before working on electricity. I am not sure about the battery life but it takes 2 AAA batteries. and I am certain that no more than I will use it the batteries should last a while. Thank you, Klein, for this kit. It saved the day for me.

I needed a good battery tester, having experienced that the usual cheap ones were not very reliable. I decided that I may as well invest in a multimeter that could test batteries. I'm very pleased with this - exceptional quality for the price (YouTube reviews attest to build quality) - and it will test 1.5V / 9V batteries 'under load' to give an accurate remaining voltage reading. You have to use the supplied leads to 'touch' the battery +/-contacts so perhaps not as convenient as many specific battery testers, but this multimeter does have a built-in stand which means you have both hands free.

I had a cheap multimeter before that basically fell apart. This Klein model seems to be well made and has all functions that I will use. The digital display is easy to read and the automatic shutoff works as advertised - already tested that feature - 🙄. For what I will be doing with this unit, I’m glad I purchased this one.
