I first bought the talking hamster for my 2 year old grandson and he loved it so much, he stated sleeping with it. I actually believe it has improved his vocabulary! I decided to give one to my 2 year old granddaughter ( different family) for. Christmas and amazingly, , she loves it, too! Even her 5 year old brother has been playing with it! I will admit. It’s not the prettiest animal I’ve seen, but it is the most fun ever. If you have a little one who needs a gift, I would recommend this for the top of the list! The price is very reasonable and it is very simple to operate. More than anything, I’m so thankful to have precious grandchildren to buy gifts for! Mine are incredible, how about yours?!♥️♥️♥️

Perfect gift for any age, but especially for ages 1-10. My 10 mon old squeals and jabbers at this little guy and it squeals and jabbers back, so she keeps doing it again and again. Soo cute! We've only had it a couple weeks so I can't say how long batteries will last. It doesn't always work just perfectly; every now and then it gets a fit where it keeps going, but we just turn it off to make it quit and when we turn back on it's ok. The 4 yr old loves it too.

My daughter loves it. However it is SO LOUD that it is really obnoxious. That being said, it is on the smaller size, is quite cute, and the clarity of the talking is decent.

Oh, I know this talking hamster was meant for my grandson, but boy, did we adults have a good time with it as well!! LOL It does repeat EVERY thing you say. And you don't have to have it directly near your face. It records from a good distance. My grandson, once he got it away from us, LOVED IT! He sang to it and his big eyes popped open when he heard the words repeated perfectly! I have to mention, it is VERY sturdy, as well! He's only 2 1/2 and tends to squeeze, bounce and even throw things.....months later, I called and learned talking Hamster is STILL talking!!! It was the most original gift for a boy who has pretty much everything. I highly recommend it. It gives you hours and hours of fun!!

I actually got this for my 7 year old neighbor, but I Pulled it out for my daughter-in-law while she and my son were living with me in the middle of COVID. We couldn’t stop laughing. My son came in from his WFH office in a room behind the garage and couldn’t figure out what was so funny, until we showed him what was going on. Of course the more you laugh the more the toy reacts. Maybe it was the pandemic lock down that made it so funny. My daughter-in-law purchased one to take to her family out of the country. They too loved it. I

This hamster is adorable and my toddler loves it. The voice pitch is VERY high, though, and can be difficult to understand when it repeats children/female voices. Also, I’m disappointed that it’s not very sturdy...my toddler isn’t rough with it but has dropped it from about 12 inches high, and would then start getting buggy. I understand electronics can be fragile by nature, but considering this is a children’s toy I was hoping it would be designed to withstand general child’s play. It also seems to drain batteries very quickly. It’s been fun, but personally I wouldn’t buy this one again.

Lord what did I get myself into. This hampered us super cute and does what it says. I got this for my 6mo for Christmas. My 9 year old son loves to play with it as well. This lies the problem lol. I think he likes it more than she does at the moment. It has a high pitched tone as you’d expect and mimics the sounds around it also. Great gift don’t get me wrong but man do my nerves get on edge when my oldest pitches in lol.
