I bought this as a gift for someone and they loved it!

Opened my package and got hit with a headache inducing smell . The smell had affected the taste of the tea and I couldn't drink it. The box is a little banged up and it peeled where the label was . It's a shame because I was really excited to try this and I can't even keep the box because that's where the smell is coming from. I tried to clean it with a Clorox wipe and it didn't even touch the smell . I was expecting wood but it doesn't look or feel like wood . Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

No complaints on the tea itself. But the cardboard label on top of the box is hard to remove and leaves a strip of paper that does not look nice. Also, it would be nice if the picture of the different teas and flavors was on the inside lid. Hard to look at the bottom of the box to see the flavors.

WARNING: NO RETURNS This arrived damaged, lock hanging off. The only thing holding it in place is one tiny screw, plastic wrap & a wing & a prayer. I ordered this as a gift & now because of the obvious damage I can’t present it.

Wanted to use this as a gift, but the label is glued to the wooden top. When you (carefully) remove the label, much of the finish comes off with it. Gave a different gift and kept this for myself. I'm not a tea drinker, so can't really say anything about the taste of the teas. Not real happy with this, though. It'll probably end up in bag going to the thrift store.

This was described as a carved wooden tea box, but appears to be some sort of laminate, perhaps over a composite, which was damaged even though I removed the label VERY CAREFULLY. I opened the clasp ONCE, closed it, when I opened it again it broke. I was not rough. Not as shown/described, poor quality, and NO RETURN option. I didn’t read ALL the reviews as it was a hurried Christmas gift. Often I find a product fine despite it having some negative reviews. The one star review that was posted in October is exactly what I found unfortunately.

It would be kinda cute even though the material is a particalboard-like wood fiber. It's not handmade. I was going to return this even before I took off the plastic overwrap, but there is not return option for this item. No matter how carefully I tried to remove the label, it tore off bits of the material, leaving ugly irreparable wounds in the surface that highlight the cheap material even more

Label on Box was glued on, when we removed and took of the top coat of box leaving horrible marks. I bought this as a gift for Christmas and was very disappointed that this says I missed return window. Why would you use glue for this label, when box is made of pressed paper/cardboard. Do not recommend.

Beautifully carved box, sturdy. The tea is refreshing. All flavours are good.

This tea box is fabulous….. well made box….. delicious teas ….. I’m going to buy it again in the future as a gift ….. love it
