I attached this to a tow dolly. And the low speed option makes it very strong. Easily able to pull a full size SUV up onto the dolly. I was expecting it to be much more exercise than it was.

Mounted and it works great on my Lund boat trailer. Belt had to be tightened several times to keep it tight. Once belt had all the slack out it I had no further issues.

I put this on a 16' tandem axle trailer to make loading easier. It is a very handy addition. I haven't used it for anything really heavy yet but it seems to be sturdy.

I can't believe how awesome this winch is. It is a BEAST of a little thing! At this price point, I wasn't expecting much--to be honest, I was halfway expecting that I would break it right away. That is not what happened. First of all, this thing is much heavier duty than I was expecting. I hadn't decided where I wanted it to go permanently (on the truck, or on the flatbed or wherever) so we tried it a couple of places and I think its home will be the flatbed. It is soooo helpful when loading stuff. The strap is more than long enough to attach to stuff beyond the length of the trailer. And it's much easier for me to crank stuff up than I was expecting. The guy who I hired to mount it on the trailer, AND every guy who's seen it, have all asked where I got it. Everybody is impressed with this thing, most of all me!

Do not buy this winch. The metal bends really easily and it can't even move 500lbs. Waste of money and a huge inconvenience.

This winch is very durable and easy to use. I got this so I could winch my son's wheelchair up on our 5x8 trailer. His chair is 400lbs due to all the adaptive equipment and is too heavy for the wheelchair lift carriers on the market. I mounted this to the truck toolbox I installed on the front of the trailer. However, this winch was buckling the tool box lid, so I will need to install a steel plate to weld or mount this winch too.However, this winch is very durable, operation is very smooth and easy to operate. The bottom plate provides various holes for installation and can is sturdy enough to weld to a surface as needed. The strap has more than enough length for an appropriate size boat trailer or other smaller vehicles.This is worth the price and will not be a disappointment purchase. I will update with photos when I get a steel plate, but I have no doubt it will serve my purpose better than expected.

This takes some effort to install (modifications to your tractor or truck if you don't already have the holes to do so) but is well worth it. The trailer winch is VERY heavy duty and made with extremely durable materials. The strap is a great length and the strap itself looks and feels like it would easily tow a car or boat and the hook is well made with durable metal material. importantly, it is well painted and sealed to keep out the elements and the casting of the metal doesn't leave any sharp or pointed edges or ends that can cause injury. Great product and I highly recommend. This is being used with my tractor.

Its not the best wench money can buy ...BUT its by far the best one for the price point. If you going to use it every day of the year I'd choose something else. If you going to use it a couple time a year GET IT.
