This is a great size backpack for my kindergartner. His favorite color is maroon and asked for a maroon backpack so this was perfect. He came home today and the plastic piece that holds the strap on was broken. My husband has it rigged to work to get him through school tomorrow before I can get him a new backpack.UPDATE: Company reached out and replaced the backpack. Replacement was sent promptly and the customer service team was very responsive and helpful.

It's made well, not heavy, ample room to add lunchbox and its cute.

To be honest, my daughter picked this out,Based on what a friend had showed her.But it turned out to be a super cute buyAnd will hopefully last the school year.

We’re only a few weeks into school year but this backpack is super cute and seems to be great quality! It’s the perfect size for an elementary aged child. And for the price, you can’t beat it.

I hope it lasts the entire school year!

My son wanted this bag for grade 1, and I was initially a bit skeptical. It didn't look like there were appropriately sized pouches (exterior) for water bottles, which was my main concern at the time. I'm used to the mesh pockets for water bottles.I was pleasantly surprised when this bag arrived. It's cute, it's a great size, and there are indeed 2 pouches for water bottles. Some of his bottles have rubber grips on them, and they don't fit in there, but most do. There are a couple of pouches on the inside of the bag, with zippers. The quality seems great.Ultimately I suspect he will want a new bookbag every year as his taste changes, but this one is in great shape even a couple of months into the school year, so it will be find to donate.I was also pleasantly surprised that it doesn't seem to stain nearly as easily as I expected, with so much white. I've done spot cleans with no issue. This is a great buy!
