This is for grinding pigments, not for sitting on.
Pros:This is great for grinding down pigments.Cons:When people visit my art studio, they think I have a sex toy sitting on my workbench.

Bigger than expected and very nice weight behind it.
This exceeded my expectations. I expected a dinky little cheap hunk of not well finished glass with a kinda sorta sandblasted bottom..this was cheap, but it wasn't cheap. It feels great while mulling watercolor pigments, the abrasive bottom is very abrasive for my needs, it's heavy but not like uncomfortable or anything just the sort of weight you'd expect from a much higher priced muller. It's perfect for making small individual watercolor batches like I make for my own home use. It's greatVery please and totally recommend if you're doing watercolor mulling!

Excellent evenly balanced muller
This is a review for "Homaisson Glass Muller for Making Paint, 3-Inch Flat Bottom Mineral Pigment Grinding Pestle"This muller is solidly built and has a nice evenly smooth bottom side, by that I mean not ground at an angle so it sits unevenly on the table.The working surface (bottom of muller) has a good level of abrasion to it so that it works well for mixing your ingredients into paint.Good size for home/personal use. I definitely recommend.

It trapped clumps of material and didn’t mix properly. It also arrived with pigment in it, and appeared as though it had been used prior.
