Easier to use than the hardbound version I bought last year
You can highlight portions of the text and use that to search the book for recipes containing the selection or search the web directly with the Kindle Fire's Silk browser for specific items such as recommended utensils, pans, or other items seen in the equipment chapter. Using the browser will give you multiple resources as well as the items available on Amazon. If you already have an account on Amazon, you can buy directly. Smart marketing if you ask me. What would be nice is for the cookbook to have an option to create a direct shopping list of ingredients to buy without having to add them to a separate application (App), which I currently do, and have that available to you when out gathering those items. You likely don't store every recipe's items at home, so it would only need to list those you don't already have in your pantry. When planning for a meal, you may be using more than one recipe, so adding from multiple recipes to a single list is just a matter of convenience. I also have the separate cover for the Kindle Fire that is magnetic so it's convenient to open it fully and stick on the side of the refrigerator as a reference when following recipes. Keeps it clean and out of harm's way while allowing page flips and scrolling as needed.

Regional cuisine. Comfort food.
I find the recipes on Cook's Country so interesting. The focus is on regional cuisine. This is comfort food, not classic restaurant dishes. I've cooked a couple of dishes already, and they are tasty. The recipes are practically foolproof. The only reason I gave four stars is for the condition of the book that I received. I ordered a new book, but the cover show a little bit of wear.

Beautiful color photos for every recipe, and they are all winners!
I am such a HUGE fan of this show (along with America's Test Kitchen). It's a little sad to not see Christopher Kimball on the cover, but he has moved on to Milk Street. I digress. I used so many bookmarks for all the shows I had bookmarked of recipes I wanted to make. I subscribe to their magazine and their website. The reason I bought this book is so that I could have the recipes at my fingertips for when I make them. Believe me, I have made MANY of these.. from Burnt Ends (so good) to their burgers, brisket, Strawberry Dream Cake and on and on... I just know that Cook's Country recipes are fabulous. I love that there's a photo for every single recipe and they are beautifully done in full color. This is one of my favorite "Go To" recipe source books. This weekend, I'm going to make the Peach Kuchen, since they are in full season. Next up, Kolaches. I have been longing to make these for a long time. Oh, the Cheesy grits recipe is to die for, along with the Shrimp & Grits. I made this for a dinner party, for some Southern friends and he said it was as good as it gets.

Fabulous cookbook which offers only the best of the best, and so much more!
This by far is the absolute best cookbook from Cook's County which I have ever received. It is loaded with a color photo for each recipe with simple ingredients you can find anywhere, and full easy directions. It also offers help and tips on preparation and ensuring each recipe is a culinary masterpiece for anyone! It also offers suggestions and recommendations for equipment to buy which was recommended by the Cook's County pro staff. I have many ATK cookbooks and this is by far the very best of ATK & Cooks county since the staff is representative of both. I am an Amazon Prime Member and this is my honest review. I did not receive any compensation or gifts from anyone for this honest Amazon Prime Member Cookbook review.

Best Cookbook EVER
If I could give this cookbook 10 stars I would. I love everything about it. The recipes are definitely more southern, homestyle cooking, but for me-it's perfect. Every recipe is comfort food. Every recipe is simplified so it doesn't matter how much experience you have in the kitchen. If you watch Cook's Country, then you know that they recommend certain products and they test a variety of different manufacturers' products and rank them from least to best. So if you're in the market for a standing mixer, you can look in the back and see whose product they recommend and the cost of the item. I love it. Love it, love it, love it!

Great new edition
I like the format of this new edition. I have purchased a couple of the older editions (last one was the 2001-2016 one). The main thing l like about this new cookbook is all the full color photos, and the way each recipe is given it's own set of pages. Makes it a lot easier to read and follow along. The sections on 'Shopping for Equipment' and 'Stocking Your Pantry' are very helpful. Over the years I've taken the recommendations given on the shows and purchased many items for my kitchen. There is also an episode guide in the back of the book that covers the ten seasons covered in this cookbook. If you're a fan of the show and haven't yet bought one of the show's cookbooks, I would recommend getting this one.
