CURL PREP Sweet Buttah Hair Moisturizer, 8 OZ

I had high expectations for this product. Not what I expected. What I liked is the softness held in my hair. However, my hair was completely dry and not much definition to my hair by the end of the day. To be honest I won’t purchase this item again.

This has been a miracle for my son's beautiful hair (I'm not sure exactly but it's between a 3C-4A for type). I find it works best when I comb it through while damp. Also, to really make his hair stand out I use this in conjunction with curlprep's Crush Wave gel (I hope I'm remembering that name right.). This duo fights off the frizz in our hot, humid Houston climate and maintains an all-day hold that I had a very difficult time finding with other products- and we tried A LOT! It is a bit pricey, which is when I go experiment with other products in hopes of finding a cheaper alternative, but it just does the job so, so well that we always have to come back. This product also works well on my younger son's hair (3A-B), but because of the cost I use the TGIN line on him which responds equally well for him while not as great for my oldest.

Product did not work at all. Overpriced and useless and dried out my hair.

So glad to find this on Amazon - finally! A great product for easily producing bouncy, shiny curls on fine natural hair.
