Walking Red Flag: A Small Town Romantic Comedy (Ocean View Series) Review: So cute, and fun, and steamy - This book was awesome. It's a standalone, but I'm glad that I read Book 1 first since we meet Gabbie in that one and its plot helps with this one. It's so nice to find a virgin FMC who isn't a teenager, hopelessly naive, or wrapped up in religion! Vic is basically catnip. He's tall, dark, and handsome, an ER doctor, and totally unwilling to settle down until he lays eyes on Gabbie. The good doctor agrees to help the lady with her condition. Ahem. And those scenes are steamy, wonderful, with exceptional dirty talk. It helps that both characters are genuinely nice and likeable. While the black moment in this romance isn't as insurmountable as it usually feels in other stories, the low angst helps this book remain sweet. Review: Fun read - This is your classic modern romance. There's a trope (virgin FMC gets experienced guy to show her the ropes, almost veering into fake dating), third-act breakup (it's pretty soft), and HEA. Gabi is full-bore ADHD, and Vic is the first man to really try to get her. I usually hate extended internal monologuing, but in this case, it is absolutely in line with Gabi's character. It's done very well. Editing: While generally well-edited, I frequently had to stop during dialogue to figure out who was talking. The author mixes speakers and other character actions in the same paragraphs, so it's not always clear who is talking or reacting.

Sweet & Spicy
4.5⭐️ Gabi and Vic are hilarious. When Gabi slips in the shower and breaks her wrist, Vic is her ER doctor. They meet again at a bar and learn they have mutual friends. Then Vic agrees to teach Gabi about intimate relations and Gabi acts like they’re dating to stop Vic’s mother’s meddling. Gabi has ADHD and the way Vic embraces her questions and mind wandering is endearing.

Virginal FMC, Playboy MMC (but a good guy), Spicy Sweet and Great
I enjoyed this book, but it also came off a little meh at times. Gabi is a virgin who, at this point, isn't giving it up to just anyone, she wants someone who can get her there. THERE THERE. And she can't even do that herself. After an accident involving a slippery floor and a shower head attempt, she lands herself in the ER with a broken wrist where she meets Vic, an attractive, single, former ladies' man who is instantly endeared by her antics. In exchange for matchmaking services with The Ex Files, he agrees to help Gabi on her...quest. Vic finds ways to calm her mind, focus her racing thoughts, and...well, I won't tell you all of it. I enjoyed them together, but found some elements a little lacking. Enjoyed the banter and all the spice, however.

ER Meets Hot Mess!
Baby daughter of big Italian family breaks her arm in her shower while attempting to experience her first Big O. And what she leaves the ER with is not just a cast, but a prescribed plan for achieving her goals.

one of the most relatable characters for me
I was already sold but when the FMC started talking about her love of romance and fantasy books I was done for. “Each of them let me get lost and turn off my brain. Live in happily ever afters and watch the drama unfold and then wrap up neatly, unlike the real world.” This character means the world to me. I related to her on so many levels but the wandering mind and a MMC who doesn’t “fix” her but reassures her she’s not broken. Beautiful, fun, spicy book.

Really Enjoyed It!
I finished this book in one sitting, really love the way this author writes. Gabi, she is one of my favorite FMC’s that I’ve read lately. She is quirky, passionate, stubborn and hilarious. Vic is what Gabi and Cassie like to call a Hot Doctor. He’s tall, dark and handsome, knows how to talk dirty and loves how Gabi’s brain works. That’s one of the things I loved the most- she has ADHD and had been told a lot how she was annoying when her mind would wonder from a conversation and then come back with some type of question, but not Vic. He was fascinated by the way her brain worked, he challenged her to stop thinking badly of herself. Their connection was palpable. The third act breakup wasn’t even bad- lasted all of a few days. I’m hoping Gabi’s brothers get books as well, especially curious after the epilogue.

Definitely recommend this book. Fantastic story with brilliant characters. Loved this and couldn't put the book down. Didn't want it to end, shame we didn't get to continue on with the story line and see how how the happy ever after went in a part 2 book lol. Sometimes when a book is so well written I want more and more to keep reading the same story line, the Victor is definitely a hot sexy character I couldn't get enough off.

Morgan writes the sweetest characters. I swear every MMC is perfect. Charming, sexy and caring. Gabi is fantastic, as someone with ADHD I felt deeply for her and her journey. It's a great story full of fun, love and 🔥.

It's a cute romance story, easy to read and wholesome. If you hate the dumb misunderstandings... You'll love this story.

I really enjoyed gabi and Vic's story. It was spicy and sexy and adorable all at once. The one thing that threw me off though, was when Gabi's nephews switched names and ages. In one chapter, the younger one is Gino and the next time we see them, the younger one is Nicky.
