Looks good, very solid, very strong.
Looks good, easily assembled. I have some heftier friends and was concerned about them sitting on my old creaky wooden chairs. No such concerns with these chairs, very solid.

Perfect for family
These are EXACTLY the chairs I wanted. My old vintage maple chairs were worn and getting wobbly with years of use by 4 grandkids. I wanted new chairs to go with our nice dining table. Geez, it was torture to find chairs that look good AND fit our space. I banged my elbows on high back chairs, the back feet of mid century chairs stuck out and tripped us. Finally, these fit our room perfectly and make the space feel so roomy.I wanted black chairs to highlight our decor. A set of simple waterproof seat covers and I have exactly what I envisioned!I know these metal frames are going to stand up to the kids, as I've seen them in restaurants for years and they still look great with much customer use. The small chair frame works fine for the large people in our family. The chairs leave lots of room under the table so nobody kicks each other at family meals. I highly recommend. These chairs are a great value because their life expectancy makes them a bargain.

Very sturdy
I was pleasantly surprised about the quality and sturdiness of these chairs. They look great and were easy to assemble. My husband is a large man and needed a dining chair to support his weight and that would be easy to stand up from a seated position, these did not disappoint. Worth the money!

I love these chairs, BUT be prepared to fix dings and/or return a few...
The chairs, when they weren't defective or scraped & scratched up, are great. They're sturdy, comfortable, and look really pretty. And, technically, the price is great (again, when they don't arrive defective, scraped, or scratched). Out of the 8 chairs I ordered, most of them had some little dings (that I could fix with a sharpie), however, two were in such incredibly bad shape (torn cushion, oil stain on cushion, undeniable scratches I couldn't possibly fix, uneven legs) that I had to return them (and, unfortunately, one of the ones I had to return was the replacement for the first return--very annoying!!!!!). The packaging is awful--they wrap the chair up, kind of mummy-like --which should protect the legs and back, but then they put NOTHING else in the huge box with it, so the chair bounces around to the degree that one of the boxes arrived with two of the chair legs sticking OUT of the box (amazingly, that chair was still in okay shape). Many of the dings and scratches actually don't seem to have come from the packaging, and had to have happened before the mummy-wrapping, though a few of the dings do look like they happened in shipping. I mention all this, despite loving the chairs, because returning them is a HUGE pain the the you-know-where, since the boxes they come in are huge and bulky and re-wrapping the chair is a pain too. I'm committed to the chairs, as I have 7 okay ones right now (two with dings I'm not happy about, but can learn to ignore) and I want a set of 8 so my fingers are crossed that the next replacement they send will be one of the good ones. The chairs are very easy to put together (just like one of the other reviewers, I just lined up the cushion with the seat flipped upside down on my dining room table, and once it was even, pushed the screws in hard enough to get them to start screwing in (though not doing them up too tight because I did have a couple lose their grip when I did them past the point of too tight, though the chairs seem to be fine even though that happened). They are, obviously, nicely priced, very comfortable, look great with my table, and are very sturdy, but only take the risk to purchase them if you're willing to go through the legwork and frustration to re-pack a few of them, return them, and wait for new ones that you may also have to return. Or get out your mega sharpie, metal file, and needle and thread to fix the dings you may receive. I am very happy with the passable chairs and am looking forward to the day when I forget what an annoyance and disappointment it's been to return the really damaged ones.

These chairs are great!!!
These chairs came partially assembled, greatly simplifying that part. They came relatively quickly, I only ordered them last week. Once assembled, these chairs are beautiful, and they are so so sturdy and solid. We are extremely pleased with this purchase!!!

Not comfortable
These chairs are small very short to the ground and hard as a brick. I would not recommend. I am only 5’2 and they sit very low.
