Nestle Quality Street 220g

I had seen these on British TV and was curious and these are soooo good. The package arrived undamaged and the quality of the candy is excellent.

Ours arrived in a padded envelope and were totally squashed. They still tasted nice, but I couldn't give them as a gift.

I remember Quality Street chocolate fondly from my youth. Back then (The Mackintosh's days) it came in a beautiful decorative tin and the pieces were wrapped in colorful foils and cellophane. It was a visual delight to behold and a delicious treat to taste. I was shocked when I received this modern version: the pieces are wrapped in dull, saddest-possible looking wrapping paper and the taste is mediocre at best, as if somebody has drained the joy and magic out of them, only faintly reminding me of the version from the past. A big disappointment and barely satisfied the nostalgia. Sad to report, Quality Street has become Meh Street.

Picked these up for Mother's Day moms.

I first enjoyed Quality Street chocolates when I lived in Ontario. I was happy to see them available on Amazon. The first ones were delayed a bit. This order was delivered earlier than expected! They are a special treat, only 1 a day. Lol or maybe 2!

To eat. I enjoyed the variety.

The chocolates were yummy. If you don’t like creamy fruit filled chocolates then this may not be for you. I love them so they were good. Unfortunately the box was less than half full, that was a bit disappointing. Packaging very handy for gift-giving.
