It works well. I quite like to proportional fan cooling the power supply. It works the way that under higher load fan works on higher revolutions while without or on low load it spins slower and therefore its quiet and not disturbing. The set up values, either voltage or current seems stable once set. There is a slight delay in voltage change when turning with the controlling knobs but that's a matter of getting used to it. It came with reasonably quality leads that seemed not have been in the listing, so thank you for the extra item. In general I am happy with it and I believe I would buy this item again.

Brilliant power supply for the money. As others have reported the fan comes on very quickly on constant current even at very low currents and is a little noisy but it's a minor point really. Also the supplied alligator plug leads are quite short, so I bought a new longer set and now use the originals with my multi-meter. This has been so useful in testing/diagnosing and repairing electronic items and projects. I should have got this years ago! If you're getting into electronics building or repairing this is a great first bench supply.
