can handle acetone based resins.....
these are just what i wanted. the important thing for me was very clearly marking the kind of plastic - polypropolene....which can handle resins that willl melt a typical "plastic' picnic cup. the picnic plastic (aka solo or 'big red cup') can handle most two part alcohol based epoxy's but not resin systems where acetone and related chemistry is used. just finished my two part clear coat project, no melted cups :) and have plenty left for my next project.

Accurate and fool proof
I usually use pump gauges for epoxy mixing (2:1, 5:1 pump etc...) - but if your mind is wandering while pumping, you can sometimes mess up a pump-to-pump (been there done that). So these measured cups are great! No ruts in the bottom, easy mixing and all the ratio markers you could want. I think a good value for the money and piece of mind when mixing accuracy is A MUST.

Measuring Markers are Very Inaccurate
I was very excited to use these new measuring cups, especially for the value, but found very quickly that they are inaccurate. I mix epoxy and which often needs to be very accurate. My standard pour is $15-$20 worth of epoxy on $10-$20 worth of materials. I was very much disappointed when I discovered to find the epoxy very cloudy and very brittle. Knowing that this can be caused by incorrect mixing ratios, I took a measuring cup that I regularly use and know to be calibrated and poured several measured ounces into these containers and found them to be very inaccurate. If you just need disposable cups, this will work, but you will likely be able to save money elsewhere with cups not having measuring increments. If you need measuring but aren't concerned about accuracy within ounces, these may work as well. If you need accuracy, look elsewhere. I lost more money than the cost of 100 cups thanks to one $0.25 cent inaccurate cup which is partly my fault for trusting this product without verifying, but after looking at their reviews regarding accuracy, I'm alarmed at this company's ability to do any form of QA on their accuracy.
