I am happy with this Rowood 3D Puzzles for Adults. It has been a great puzzle project. This would be a fun gift for an adult or older teen. It could easily be shipped directly to the recipient. This finished puzzle is display worthy. I found it helpful to work in a well lit area due to some of the small pieces and tricky connections. I recommend this Rowood 3D Puzzles for Adults.

The media could not be loaded.  I have assembled a lot of these wooden puzzles and I was very excited for this globe. I broke so many pieces and of course none of the parts that broke came with extras! Wood glue was my best friend with this one. The instructions were not as good as other models. The final product looks really good, the movement did not work well at first but after a few adjustments add a couple toothpick wedges it is much smother. I was also disappointed that Israel is not labeled on the map. I would not recommend this model unless you are experienced with these types of puzzles.

I wanted to get my mom a unique gift for Christmas. I know how much she likes puzzles and building things and I did not want to get her the regular kitchen tool or appliance. I was looking and found this and knew I had to get it. Right of the batt it came in a very sturdy box and was well laid out. Nothing was broken and I just love how in the instruction manual there was a QR code to watch a video that demonstrated what section you were at and how to assemble. HOWEVER, with that being said this is not an easy assembly. Mostly if you have bad eye sight or not the greatest hand dexterity. There were two sections where I had to help my mom assemble just due to the sized piece or because of the intricate piece having to go to a very small particular area. Other than that I am very impressed with this and we both thought this was both unique and challenging. My mom loves the fact that this can light up and once fully assembled it is satisfying to look at it knowing the process it took to make it and the fact that it looks very cool put together. With keeping the two minor issues in mind, I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants something that is both functional and giftable and especially for those who enjoy building things. I think it was well worth the price, time and effort. Go give them a try!

Ok, first off, I'm getting there....but I will say it's a lot to build one of these. Getting the map panels to sit properly was a delicate and time-consuming task. This wooden puzzle has a ton of pieces and steps and each one is as fun and challenging as the last. I am an adult and I love to build Legos but this Rokr project is way more fun than any Lego I have built...well the Death Star was pretty cool but the price difference is a whole other story.The pieces separate from the boards very easily and a little sanding of any spurs makes the piece perfect before you install it. This is wood so there is a bit of "handle with care" that must be taken. I did break a piece but was able to glue it back together as it wasn't a structural piece, so I was lucky there. The instructions are easy to follow, and the pictures are great to guide you. There are even some YouTube videos it will send you to, to watch tricky steps of the build. I just have to make some time to finish it, but I really enjoy the fact that it's not something you can complete in a few hours or a couple of days. To get to where I am now it's probably been 12+ hours and I still have a long way to go.I think the instructions say ages 12 and up. I feel with assistance yes, a younger person could complete this but really it would be better as a father/mother and son/daughter project it is challenging. All in all, this is a great project and I'm having a ton of fun building it....and you will too.

The Rowood 3D Puzzle is a wood model kit for people 14 and over. It has 5 pages of detailed instructions and 2 tools (Philips screwdriver and small ruler) for assembly of the luminous world globe. The wood pieces are laser cut from 7 thin (but strong) sheets of wood. The pieces are interlocking with a tight fit, and a wax bar is included to help lock the pieces together. I caused some minor breakage during assembly and decided to use glue on some locking joints. It would be helpful to add other tools to your work area as I did (needle nose pliers, tweezers, sharp knife, glue) because of the small size of some of the sometimes difficult to fit pieces.The assembly took me 6 days with 2 to 3 hour sessions each day. I call the sessions fun because I like to put jigsaw puzzles together and spend many hours assembling them. I must say, though, the 3D puzzle could be frustrating for someone who has trouble seeing spatial relationships. The directions are good and there are a few QR codes that give additional information for some difficult constructions. However, there are some experiences of frustration when pieces do not fit together perfectly, not a problem with jigsaw puzzles. Therefore, there is the 14+ age recommendation.The completed Luminous Globe looks very nice in daylight room conditions and at night lit from within. The Globe can be hand rotated with the geared base to observe areas of our planet. Latitude and Longitude measures can be seen via the attached scales. I really enjoyed the construction of the Globe, and we light it every night (via included USB A connection).The RoWood Wooden Model K is a great product that jigsaw puzzlers and model builders will enjoy building and using.

Directions difficult to understand. Pieces would not go together and stay parts were broken. Not a good kit.
