This book contained a great amount of heat, laughs, friend, family, and some drama from Flynn's ex. An age gap story with some BDSM, the main characters roles were believable. As a young Dom Judge showed not only his strict, demanding side but also his desire to take care of Judge in every way. Judge fell into his role as sub quite easily too. I think he had more of an issue with their age gap in the relationship and was not really bothered by the fact he was an older sub drawn to a young Dom. I think the story flowed well and it definitely kept me hooked from beginning to end. I also loved the secondary characters and the humor they added to the story.

This book is definitely not for people who are averse to age gaps, BDSM of any form and the teacher-student romance as all three are contained in this story. I love Flynn and Judge and they are just glorious together. The first time they met, the power imbalance of Flynn's position as a teacher isn't there yet since their first time was a random hookup in a bar with some really hot, sexy bathroom times. I was wondering on how that aspect of their relationship would be handled and the writers didn't disappoint. It was so interesting to see Judge chase after Flynn and how he slowly but surely earned the older man's trust and eventually his love. I loved that despite being a spoiled brat, he was willing to sacrifice and learn how to be independent and stand on his own feet for the man he loves. It was a joy seeing Flynn blossom throughout the story. Being heartbroken after he was left by his ex-boyfriend for a younger man and had all his money stolen as well, he definitely did deserve to get his happy ever after. Him slowly coming out of his shell and learning to live his life the way he wanted to with Judge beside him was definitely worth joining them in their journey. The moments where they chose to fight for their relationship and did what was best for them as individuals and as a couple were definitely some of the highlights for me. Their relationship had some bumps along the way but they definitely did work those out and came out stronger and better for it. Despite the subject matters tackled, this story is rather sweet and romantic. The mushy moments definitely balanced out some of the hot and spicy ones. This would be 4 stars out of 5 stars for me and I do recommend giving this book a try.

When I read the description on the zon, I was delighted to one-click it. Then, when I began reading I quickly made two unexpected discoveries: 1. One of the tropes is age-gap which I detest reading. I never can understand what is romantic about a hero falling in love with someone half his age. I think it's inappropriate...and I'm definitely not a prude. 2. Another trope is BDSM, which I don't particularly like. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad thing, it's just not something I want to read in a romance novel. Take, for instance, FSOG; I've never read the series Well, it's a good thing the author didn't indicate that Higher Learning has two tropes I absolutely dislike. But I'm one of those readers who try to push on even when I discover there are things I don't like in a story. And, I'm glad I did. Turns out that this is a lovely story. I like that there is a reversal in the natural scheme of things when the 24 year-old is the Dom and the 45 year-old is the Sub. The younger hero is very confident while the older one is shy. And of course, they both grow as individuals and as a couple and they have their HEA. This was the first time I read this author's work and it will definitely not be my last.

Honestly this was kind of ridiculous in a charming, unrealistic, but sexy way. Judge is rich, young, and way to determined on making his professor Flynn his. The baby Dom and his muscle sub. It has very hot at times, but the interactions, conversations, everything else was just too much. Exaggerated, unrealistic and kind of cringe at times. But still entertaining enough for me to skim until the end to know what happened with them. But this will probably be the last time I read these authors.

I loved this story. The storyline was perfectly executed with a wonderful adventure that keeps you guessing whats going to happen next. Loved Judge he was a strong,stubborn yet charming character and Flynn thought sensible did stand a chance. They story was amazing and I loved there HEA.

First off, I absolutely LOVE this cover!! So freaking HOT!! Wonderful story! I loved everything about this, especially the BDSM parts. I loved that, even though it was an age gap, it wasn’t with someone who was so young. I’m not a big fan of under 20 years old. Judge was so perfect and I want him for myself…lol!! I love Flynn and all his muscles and submissiveness…he was just too sweet. The models on the cover were soooooooooo perfect for Flynn and Judge! I hope we get Jury’s story at some point because I think he’d be perfect for a strict, nerdy librarian…lol!

I usually don’t like anything with a younger dom. Just personal preference. I like the stereotypical older dom, but this book was really well written. I really enjoyed it. I love the names judge and jury!! I also like that they were together from the beginning. Not a bunch of unnecessary drama. The only thing that I didn’t like was there ending was kind of about to me. Might just me, but I wish it were a little more settled with judges job and their house. It almost felt slapped together at the end. Again, it might just be me, so don’t let my review stop you from reading. You’ll enjoy it.

I don’t know how M.D. Gregory and Ki Brightly do it but they keep coming out with more and more great stories about the men of New Gothenburg. I love these stories so much that when I type in New I get the prompt of Gothenburg rather than York the way most people would. This is another great story which actually features my favorite dynamic, older sub and younger dom. The thing that I most like about these stories is that the authors make them so realistic even if they do think up some crazy stuff like twins called Judge and Jury. Every time a new book comes out I promise myself that I will go slow and savor it but then I start reading and get sucked into the story and…..well let’s just say that I fail at reading slowly. Everything from the characters, plots, city building, intimate scenes, descriptions of things, relationship problems, feelings described and so much more is perfectly on point in this book. If you like mm romance stories with a bit of spice then you are probably going to like this book. You don’t have to have read any of the other books but you can pick up the fun little cameos and interactions better if you have. Honestly if you read this book you will probably want to go out and read all of the New Gothenburg stories. Have fun!

A great start for a forbidden themed book written by the authors. Flynn (45 yrs) was out for a drink with his friend who was trying to get him a pick up . Annd Judge finds him🔥🔥🔥 Judge was a rich student and a definite top who "wanted Flynn" even if it's against the rules of student/Teacher relationship. A pursuit by Judge as he tries his hardest to win Flynn. He doesn't believe in being told No when it's No meant. I liked Flynn's character as he tried to get over his Ex but re-emerges back into the story. Flynn teaches law and some scenes didn't make sense with me regarding his past and present with Chris. The age gap comes into play between them to make it a little harder for Flynn at the start. A great book I liked for these guys and its not easy but they get there. The complicated Ex baggage finally get sorted out with Chris and gets what he deserves. Beautifully written with dual Pov's and a HEA ending. Sexy scenes included with dominance and submission.

I am not a fan of the trope but... Oh my goodness, this book made me drool. Jude is sometimes a spoiled brat who is willing to grown up for the man of his dream, becoming a responsible dom and adult. Flynn is hurting because of a failed relationship lasted more than 20 years and us left heartbroken and in financial trouble.I really loved their interaction and the way their relationship was shaped.

This story had the right balance of smut and story. I laughed so much. I was into the characters. Can't wait to read more from these authors.

Highly recommend this one ! It’s an easy read with a perfect HEA. And I love that it is actually realistic!
