Small cups and band; great for immediate projection and narrower wires
I had high hopes for this. I had read that it was good for immediate projection. Sadly, I have no idea as it is several cup sizes too small.I currently wear a 38K/38H (US/UK) or a sister size of 40J/40GG in most bras. I had been wearing a lot of Elomi - a few of their styles are good for immediate projection - but due to changes in my breasts, I need a narrower wire. Reddit and Bratabase info suggested that this bra, Prima Donna, and some Panache and Cleo by Panache would work.Of six I ordered, this was the last I tried on. I was shocked at how small it was. Seems like a US H, not a UK H. The band is tighter than any of the others, too. The Panache and Cleo by Panache were wearable without an extender - this one was digging into my skin. The good is that the wires are narrower - about 7.25" in a 38H. And, it really DOES work for immediate projection - one of the best I have tried. The fabric is not soft, but it did not bother me in the short time I had it on. Seemed to provide a bit of support to the cup.I had the straps extended the farthest possible - but I am tall.

Good bra
I purchased a 28ff. The band is just a tiny bit small, so it leaves red lines on my skin that take hours to go away, but I expect this effect to lessen with wear as the bra stretches. This bra is unlined, with a stretchy lace section at the top of the cups. The cups fit perfectly, the underwear is sturdy and wide. The gore does go a bit high for my liking, and it has two metal pieces at the top that I did not expect nor do I like the look of. All in all, a good bra that fits almost perfectly and also doesn't show through my t-shirts! I will be trying more Freya bras.

Read my review for sizing help!
Liked this, but holy cow, waaaay too tight. I wear a 30F/FF UK (G/GG in US) in most brands, then get the band taken in. Freya is one of few brand that comes in the 28 already! So I ordered a 28GG in this bra. But this 28 felt like a 24. So tight. Couldn't even button it on the loosest hook. I would also size down a cup if I were you. Up a band and down a cup. I would order a 30 G if I were to do it again. Maybe even a 30FF.I also really loved the look of the fabric online and in person. But it's much more opaque in person, so if you're looking for a subtler, more transparent feel, I'd look elsewhere.

... time I've purchased a Freya Rio and I'm really happy with it overall
This is the first time I've purchased a Freya Rio and I'm really happy with it overall. It seems true to size (I'm having to size down after losing some weight though, so I may not be the best judge), and it's comfortable despite being pretty stiff. I really prefer forward-projecting bras and this definitely fits the bill, although perhaps not as much as the Panache Andorra. I know some people think this bra is ugly, but I actually like it a lot since it's about the closest thing you're gonna get to a punk aesthetic in a bra. Super supportive. Really happy with the fully-adjustable straps. The only downside is that it's very, very full-coverage so it's not necessarily good for low-cut or sleeveless tops. (Also keep in mind that it doesn't provide stretch and therefore may not be great for monthly fluctuations.)

Not bad... :D
Bra is a nice flattering style. Fits exactly as intended. Has a little stretch to it... material feels a bit different than their normal bras, much rougher?? Thinking maybe after a few washes or soak in fabric softener it'll feel different. Still a good price for their normally over priced bras. Shipped very fast! :D Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the material feel. But then again might be because of that new..new.. material feel, beats me.

Underwire much bigger than normal with extremely full cup
The under-wire on this bra comes out much farther on either side of the ribs than any other Freya lace bra I've bought (I have 5). Probably a full inch more. The cups are also come down further, expecting a fuller chest possibly, than all other Freya lace bras that I have. The middle part of the bra that touches the sternum comes up a good half inch further than other bras as does the actual fabric of the bra itself. This is a bit inconvenient because the bra fabric shows when worn with tank tops, even ones that are not too low. I have had to fold in the fabric so it doesn't show and cut off the little fake-metal piece in the front because that can be seen through shirts. It is also a bit loose near the top if you aren't extremely full-chested, a bit more than normal with Freya lace bras. I normally have to take in the top alittle, but this one was a bit much. This bra is definitely not as nice as I had hoped it would be, but it is better than paying $70 for another one.For those of you wondering, the bra is 100% see through mesh that reminds me of a swim suit. This is what I expected so I'm fine with that. It's cute. I am a 30G if you are wondering the size.

Love it!!
Freya makes great bras and they have great support. This bra is sort of their "prototype" for a lot if their other bras in that they follow the wing style which provides a lot of support. I only wish I hadn't gotten a balcony. Doesn't support me quite the right way as I need the 3-point support. Durand change that this is a beautiful bra with great support and is very well made. If I changed anything it would be the hardware. It tends to tarnish.

I really want to love this bra
I really want to love this bra. The cut is very flattering, the fabric is very breathable yet still somewhat sexy. However, as others have said, the cups are cut very conical. I first bought my size and had a bunch of extra fabric in the first. I then purchased a cup size smaller and my breasts fill the material out better, but the fit is tight and uncomfortable.

Great buy
Great bra and it was discounted. I bought a 36H, I found that the fit was true to size, the shape isn't round or cone, I found it was a bit in between (if that makes any sense) but under tops it was very nice and did give a rounder and uplifted look, has great soft material and sturdy construction. This bra was sold by a third party and their shipping/handling was amazing, it arrived 4 days before expected delivery date.

My perfect bra
I only ordered this bra on the back of others' reviews, and have not been disappointed. Gives a large-breasted woman a nice shape. I am always looking for bras that don't allow sideways spread and this fits the bill. I have in 3 colours now and will re-order as they wear out.

Freya Rio bra - best fit for me
I have been wearing Freya Rio ever since I had a personal fitting and this bra seems to be the best fit for me. Tried so many other before as well as recently, but I always come back to Freya Rio or Freya Idol. If it makes you feel great wearing it, then it is worth the money.

Uncomfortable wire.
The fit is great- true to size but the wires are very uncomfortable, they dig in. By the end of the day it was painful.
