TIVOLY - Set of 3 Plastic (ABS) Drill Stops - Adjustable without Tools - For Drills Ø1/8’’ to 15/32’’

These Depth Stops are designed to prevent you drilling to deeply, they are handy if you don't have a depth guage with your drill. They are in three sections, the instructions stink, so here's what you do Insert your drill bit into your powered off electric drill, take one of the three different sized guages - they state on them the drill sizes they each fit. Unscrew the guage carefully and it will come completely apart place the grey piece over the drill bit, then carefully push the clear plastic piece over the drill and then screw down the red part onto the grey, this is a whole lot easier than trying to push the drill bit straight through as in the instructions. You can now loosen the guage down the drill, for example you measure the wall plug against the end of the guage so that the wall plug is just a little before the end of the drill bit so as to allow the screw to penetrate the plug in the wall correctly. Tighten the guage to the drill bit and away you go, each hole should now be the same depth. Then simply unscrew the guage ready for next time. They really a handy gadget to avoid having to re-drill or filling in holes that have gone too deep.

Seems ok. Can be hard to align at 90 degrees. Don't press the end to your work for to long.

At last a drill stop that actually stays in position, far better than the usual offerings, I have used all sizes now quite a few times and cannot fault, definitely worth the money and a lot better than just using tape, also works well with a drill block

Why did you choose this product over others?:Instead of using bits of tape which get ragged after a couple of uses, these will stay where you put them, although, they may mark a delicate surface?

Absolutely to avoid, drilled 2-3 holes and the plastic stop just rounded inside with the sharp edge of the drill bit spiral, luckily I did not went though.Entirely my mistake, buying a diy kit for professional use, you cannot expect a plastic screw to hold a plastic ring around me HSS drill bit. Avoid if you intend to buy for professional use

Very handy DIY tool that I never knew I needed, no fuse simple design that works.

All idea its OK but plastic with one its inside and hold the drill in time are overheating and don't hold the drill .....
