Sadly, I never got around to returning this. We had already opened the lancets and used with this. The Microlet Lancing device is off somehow as the lancets do not penetrate the protective cap and prick the skin. I took to the pharmacy figuring it must be me. The pharmacist confirmed that something was off as the point did not spring out of the top. It is unusable because of this. I suppose it could be a defective batch from the manufacturer.

My boyfriends mom had one of these devices until it went bad. She used the new style lancer sent by her insurance company, Horrible!I told her i would search Amazon, Bingo!Not only does it come with the lancer, it came with needles! What a plus. Thanks Amazon & Seller.

The Microlet device is very cheap and flimsy. I've had it for a month and will be surprised if it lasts more than a couple more months. Also, I'm not sure why CareTouch lancets are coupled with this device. They do not fit easily into it nor are removed easily. (Also no instructions included.) The AccuCheck device I previously used was quality-made and had lancets that were made for that device that snapped in easily and removed easily.

I'm an infamously poor diabetic. I am on a pump and although I test about five times per day, I frequently have to run around and gather my meter, strips, lancing devices and lancets. This irritates my family because I'm always making them wait while I gather my stuff. I made a decision to make up cases of testing supplies and stash them in key places such as both mine and my husband's car, my purse, my nightstand and the kitchen. I ordered these lancing devices and lancets to put in those testing kits. They are inexpensive (compared to the $100 lancing devices of which I have two and neither work as promised!) they are dependable and having multicolored lancets helps me remember if I need to change it or if I already have! A good deal on a tried and true product.

My husband has used this model Lansing device for a while now - the product delivered is as advertised. It is maybe not a springy as the older ones, but works ok. If there is an issue - it is not with the vendor. Delivered promptly and as advertised. Earlier order got combined by amazon with other items and lost - amazon’s problem again - not the vendor. Ordered again and it came right thru. Will use this vendor again. Thanks

This is by far the worst lansing device I've ever used. I have to use it multiple times to draw blood, even when the notch is adjusted to the highest level. I wish I could say it's just a defective unit, but this is the second one I've tried. The first one was the unit that came with the meter. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

These lancets are great. Maybe just my imagination, but they seem sharper then the original Microlet lancets, at least I can use the minimum setting on the Microlet device and the "pain" is really just a prick. Needed a new Microlet device and found these by accident. Great buy.
