Pharmacy Technician Exam Third Edition

I am a pharmacy tech in training, working in a retail pharmacy in Montana and I’m self teaching myself for the exam instead of going to school or taking classes. One of my coworkers who recently passed the exam recommended this book to me because it’s the most up to date and easy to understand. It has plenty of practice tests and helpful procrastination tips.

Several typos in this book, however very useful.Update:online practice test is the same test that's in the book. So they advertise 3 practice tests. There is a diagnostic test in the beginning and a practice test at the end.. I was disappointed.

It should have more practise questions for test-taking.

Seems to cover many topics and well organized but there are numerous calculation errors. Im good in Math so i am lucky to have picked up on them.

As others have stated, there are calculation errors in the solutions guide for the math problems. I also noticed that Duloxetine was incorrectly classified as an SSRI in the top 100 drugs list when it's actually an SNRI (Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor). Overall, it's a poorly typed out book. Grammar mistakes everywhere and it's hard to read at times due to the poor presentation of the topics at hand. Do not recommend it.
