Great for working in a restaurant prep cook

I use these for holding wax china makers for work. They made it a lot easier for me to grab and mark defects. They are made strong so I wasn't worried about it breaking. Worth the money.

I have been volunteering at Habitat for Humanity for 35 years, losing at least one pencil per job (“can I borrow a pencil?”) or forever searching for the pencil I just put down. I saw a volunteer buddy with a pencil reel and decided that’s what I need. Bought some from the big orange box, but the line only marginally retracted - too much work. These retract easily (constant tension, but not too much) and have a wire vs nylon string. So far very happy with the performance for the price paid.

Used it for two weeks and still works great. Only complaint is wish it was longer.

What a time saver! When I’m doing any kind of carpentry work, I always have to find where I laid my pencil or dig it out of my pocket. I wear one of these every day around the farm and I always have a pencil handy. It fits carpentry pencils or sharpies and extends as long as my arm from my belt loop.

This is just what I needed when doing wood working. I am always looking for my pencil, or sharpening it because the tip broke off when I put it in my tool pouch.

these were almost exactly what I was looking for except it said they were magnetic but this wasn't the case my solution was to put ut in a hook where it was going to be and that seems to be working well

Now I can stop looking for my carpenter pencil as long as you clip it back on it's right there on your side

Quality is OK at best. Nothing fancy. Belt clip is pretty much useless.

The quality of the product is not the best. In 2 weeks of use, one piece tore. Good thing I bought 4 at once. Maybe enough for six months. I use it 40-60 times a day
