I've bought 2 of these Amazon Basics Ceramic Space Heater, Electric Heater for Indoor Use With 3 Heat Settings, Temperature Control, Lightweight (1.7 LBS), 520 w, Black, 5.1"L x 3.5"W x 7"H. WHY I ORDERED THIS: - I needed a new small heater for under my home office desk in a very chilly room. - My older 200 Watt heater just was not giving me enough heat for this winter. - When I saw this 500 Watt Heater on sale, I decided to buy it. THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - I am so glad I bought this 500 Watt Heater as it is perfect size for under my desk. - It give off plenty of heat to keep my feet and legs warm. - I love that even though there is no thermostat, you can select a lower Wattage use if you want. - I really appreciate that the controls are on the top of the heater so it is pretty easy to reach them. - I also love that there are red indicator lights that show if it is on fan or heat mode, and if it's set at Hi, Med or Low. THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - Wish this did have a thermostat, but it's not a deal breaker for me. - I also wish that the little red indicator lights were just a bit larger, as they are hard to see unless it's quite dark. CONCLUSION: - I love and enjoy using this little Amazon Basics Electric Ceramic Space Heater for use under my office desk. - While it was still on sale at around $13, I actually bought a spare one because i love it so much!

For a small heater with low wattage it heats small spaces efficiently and nicely. No strong odors. And runs quietly. After purchasing one, I purchased two more.

After 3 weeks of constant use 16 hours a day, it's working out for my needs. I like it but it has limitations. The Good: 1. Relatively quiet relaxing white noise even on the high setting 2. Small size. Sometimes better to have three 500 watt heaters than one 1500 watt heater 3. Seems well built and has a reliable internal tip over sensor The Could Be Better: 1. If you lose power, it will not turn back on automatically. You will need to turn it back on manually. 2. Not enough difference between low and high heat. 435 watts on low. 455 watts medium. 490 watts high. The heat is almost the same. Only the fan speed changes. Hence with low fan speed, the plastic components overheat and the heater turns off to protect itself unless the room is extremely cold. I need to run mine on high all the time or it will turn off and stay off unless I manually turn it back on. 3. This black heater with dim indicator lights is hard to see on the floor in the dark. I've accidentally kicked it over many times.

This is a really good little heater for a small space. It's not loud at all, and puts out a good amount of heat. I've been using it in my bathroom, which gets very chilly in the cold months. It's been so nice not freezing when I get out of the shower. The safety feature of it turning off when tipped over works great. It's small and light so it's really easy to move around. Although it's small and light, it doesn't feel cheap and flimsy. One of the things I really appreciate is that the front doesn't get really hot. So many little portable heaters get so hot, and this one doesn't.

The heater is smaller than I expected works ok. Still gets warm but not as hot.

This little heater rocks! I had a smaller my heat brand one before this and lemme tell ya I went from having to choose one foot at a time to keep my feet warm to just sitting normal and both feet warm.. gives off a nice wide stream of heat I can put my hand right on the front of it and it doesn't burn me absolute bang for the buck highly recommend.

This heater maybe small it it puts out like a larger heater. Heats well.

I live in Texas where winters are usually mild, but we do get the occasional freeze. Our living room has a propane wall unit that keeps the common areas warm, but my bedroom doesn’t have any heat. I picked up this space heater to use in my room, and it helped a lot during those cold snaps. It warms up quickly and makes a noticeable difference, especially if you’re sitting or working near it. You do have to be fairly close to really feel the heat as it’s more of a personal or spot heater than something that heats the whole room evenly. Still, it was great for keeping my space comfortable while reading, working, or getting ready for bed. I usually turned it off when I went to sleep, mostly out of caution. If you need something small and reliable to warm up your immediate space, this does the job well without driving up your heating costs.

Good and Portable but it stopped working after few hours and the after half an hour sometimes even just few minutes after automatically starts working again! Kind its kinda cute and goods for office desk corners.

Bought two of these to heat a storage shed to prevent freezing in the cold weather. They were to be turned on and off by a temperature controlled outlet. However when the power to these heaters is turned on, they go to standby mode until they are turned on with the power button. They seemed well built and produced enough heat but not suitable for a remote location. Had to return them.
