Good Grips Nylon Round Turner

We have been trying to find a replacement for a 20 year old cheap old Ecco vinyl spatula that has a melted handle and has been used to death. We cook in our house.....and I mean we cook every meal from scratch so our cooking & cutting tools really get used. We've tried other kinds and brands of turners/spatulas over the past couple of years trying to find a suitable replacement, but until now all have failed. The silicone ones just don't have the strength and stiffness to deal with a nearly 20 lb batch of homemade dog food, which we make (from scratch) every month for our three pupper-doos. My husband came marching out of the kitchen after using this spatula to break up the 10 lb tube of hamburger that begins the preparation for our homemade dog food....waving it in the air as he approached me with a huge smile on his face, exclaiming what an amazing spatula this was and "that we finally found a proper replacement for the tired old spatula we've been hobbling along with for years that no other spatula could compare to!" That may not sound like much, but we've been searching for a replacement for our old spatula for some years now and nothing has come close, until this one. We will be buying a backup and plan to keep them for what is likely the remainder of our lives....since we're closer to the end than the beginning these days.;) We love the feel, the color, the handle feels great in your hand, it's cuts through hamburger like nobody's business, it handles the big jobs and the smaller jobs with ease and is just the right size. We absolutely love it!!!! If you're looking for a spatula that can handle it all, this is it!

Love this! Excellent quality! It is very durable and holds up from daily use and putting in the dishwasher! Its large surface is excellent for all pan sauteing and frying. Highly recommend!

This is nice and FLAT. You can actually use it for fried eggs and omelettes. It cleans well. Yeah, gunk gets stuck on the edge. It’s NYLON. That HAPPENS…you scrape the edge off on the edge of the skillet and you will be fine. Do NOT leave this in your pan while your pan while the burner is still on. You will get melty-melty. The turner is NYLON. DON’T DO IT. Be good to your turner. Also: you don’t need to crank up the heat to high. Most chefs say to use medium to low, and if you have a good pan, it will heat up just as fast.

While this has been an excellent turner, and I have many Oxo items in my kitchen. This is relatively easy to clean, perfect size for flipping pancakes and the handle is grippy and well-sized. The only issue I have with it is that it is two pieces and it retains the water from the sink or dishwasher. So when you use it to flip, water will drip out onto the pan or food when you use it. I still love it and may add some caulk to it eventually but something that really should have been sorted out.

It’s a perfect size for a spatula that works great for everything.

These are the best turners I've ever used. They have a nice sharp edge to get under things. Too blunt of an edge and it will break the yolk of an egg. They aren't too stiff to use on gentle things like eggs and they are strong enough to use on burgers. That is hard to find in a turner.

I have had one of these for years. The handle finally broke Bought a much cheaper one at first but sent it back Spent the extra few dollars and got the OXO which is way better quality

I've been on the hunt for quite some time for a cooking spatula that has a flat end. I ordered this with high expectations that it would replace an older, smaller version that is on it's last bit of usefulness. This spatula is great! Nice, flat end makes breaking up hamburger meat in the pan just as easily as my old favorite one. Love this one is way bigger and is quite sturdy. The holes are a bonus in that I don't have to worry much about the hamburger grease as I'm browning it in the pan. I've only used this for hamburger cooking thus far, but I am definitely going to order a couple more!

Don't waste your money on other turners. This one works wonders and is not at all floppy. You are always in control of the food you're flipping. Wouldn't buy any other brand. Can't beat the price. Highly recommend.

I can't tell you how many nylon or plastic turners / spatulas I've used in my life. I'm a very heavy user of turners and spatulas and so far I've found no faults with the Oxo ones. The problem I had with my last ones from Kitchen Aid were they had too much flexibility while trying to slide under a fried or sunnyside up egg in a non-stick pan-- the flexibility would just push the egg forward instead of slipping underneath. The stiffer turners are INCREDIBLY more useful for flat surface floppy food like eggs, pancakes or latkes-- you can actually scoop and lift instead of pushing. With the wide version like this, I can't recommend it enough. Not great for smash burgers and mushy things you need to press on because of the slots. They look very sleek and nondescript, so they will blend into most kitchens whether you're going for modern or classic. Highly recommended. If this helped, please click the button below!

Nice and sturdy

Great for flipping pancakes, eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. Nice and study feeling, comfortable grip and work well for getting under food items to flip in the pan. The one knock is the cleaning. Due to all the holes versus a few longer slits it can be cumbersome to wash.
