Inexpensive, brought new life to old DC59
When the latching plastic “spring” broke on my existing Dyson Animal DC 59 cordless vacuum (purchased 2015) I thought I’d take a chance on this piece, because the price point was so attainable compared to other options. I broke the old lid piece out of my existing vacuum (carefully of course) and swapped this in, all in less than two minutes. I really couldn’t believe the difference in performance just from having a new seal and good connection between pieces. Would recommend this to anyone whose old Dyson vacuum has a similar issue and is otherwise in still relatively good working order.

Good replacement lid. Removing your old one takes a snip but this one can be inserted and works well
