Yoga Fan: Practice Guide For Everday

I love that this is ringbound so it makes it easy to use for a solo practice. The backs of each page have great tips and info to help with poses and this can be used for a simple sequence or a more challenging flow. The pages are laminate quality so safe to be in the sweat zone. Best part is this is small and lightweight so fits in my bag easily to take wherever I want.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend (and us) who often asks to stretch or do yoga and which usually doesn't happen. I hoped this would help us get it into our lives and it has, making it fun and approachable. Each pose is well guided and even has more information than we will likely absorb (the proper names for poses) but that I'm glad are there. I'm pleased with the variety of poses, from beginners, intermediate and advanced poses for us to set goals for. Great gift idea and an easy way to work into a new routine.

This is truly a very handy device to learn and practice many exercises. At the beginning, the author suggested taking at least one yoga class before initiating these exercises. My spine is very tight. Therefore, most of the exercises are a bit much for me. I do plan to take a class or at the very lease, find exercises that will loosen my spine. A very handy tool to learn exercises, and to tote with your mat on trips, or to yoga class.

Really a very handy guide for anyone who is trying to familiarize themselves with yoga postures and new to teaching yoga. I really wanted it so that I could learn all the Sanskrit names for the asanas and also wanted an easy guide that I could throw into my handbag to study on the run. I only wish that it was on "ring" so that I could actually take apart the fan and sort and/or sequence the postures - this would really help when planning for a class, especially being so new to teaching yoga. As a previous reviewer has mentioned, I will most likely manually take it apart and put it on a ring clip for easy use. Otherwise, this is an easy to ready and understand tool.

I love this tool! I was looking for something to help me when I practice at home, away from the studio. I was so pleasantly surprise that the fan even has cards that breakdown flows for you so it's very easy to get a good practice when there isn't an instructor in front of you. I would definitely recommend this for anyone starting yoga or just wants a resource to help strengthen their personal practice. I would imagine this would be valuable for instructors as well!

This is FANtastic! The quality is great. The content is great. The format is great. I bought one for myself and for a friend. It's nice if you are at home and trying to work in a pose. It provides instructions on how to get in poses. I really love having this at my fingertips. The fan fits in a great little case. So it keeps it in good contrition. Easy to carry in your bag. It also talks about chakra systems. It brings the wholeness of yoga together. And the price is awesome. If you've read this far, why aren't you buying it right NOW? Get it! ❤️

This is great little yoga reference. It is handy and convenient to take anywhere. It is compact so there is not a full story behind each pose but there are the important parts. I wish more items were done in such a convenient fashion.

I am newish to Yoga and was looking for a quick refresher on both basic and traditional beginner poses. I did not want a large book to carry on me when I wanted to do a quick refresher and thought this reminded me so much of flash cards during my school days this would be an easy and fun option. It arrived quickly and in a sleeve for easy carrying and for good reason; these are very thin and not durable. I have taken the fan out of the sleeve about ten times and every page/corners are bent and splitting. I have since bought the The Yoga Bible by Christina Brown and have used this book more frequently.

Wow! No wonder these have been selling out so quick! I ordered this at the same time as two very popular yoga pose books. I was very unimpressed with the books. But had to wait for the yoga fan, as it had a long delivery estimate. Well, it finally arrived, in perfect condition and is well worth the wait, and the money! The fan covers everything you could want or need to know as a beginner, like me. Although, it states it is aimed at all levels of yogis. For me the most useful aspects of the fan is the modification poses (brilliant) and the sequencing of poses, so that I can practice at home. I love how you can just fan out the poses of a sequence on the floor and off you go! So much better than trying to make a book lay flat or needing to turn pages! I also am impressed with the comprehensive detail for preparation, and the colour coding. So easy to pick up there you left off! The fan was larger than I expected, which was brilliant, 8.5in long x 2in wide. Plus, it's printed on both sides, so way more information than you think possible. If trainingfan.com bring out more yoga fans, I will definitely be purchasing!

Fantastic quality and so easy to use. It contains lots of asanas plus loads of useful information. The fan folds into a good size and shape too. Love it!
