I picked this item as I was originally using just the plug type and was on my third as the internal part kept breaking. Item looks to be a better construction. Been in use for a couple of weeks now with no issues.

JUST THE JOB

It's an adaptor, not much to say really, fits socket on bike fine, cig lighter plugs in fine (although no latching built in). For the money, not great. Had to wrap insulation tape round it to stop the cap dropping off, but it will do for what I need it for. Can't really rate "sturdiness" as I've only just tested it so far

Its cheap, its cheap for a reason, no fuse, and it is NOT waterproof, they is a large gaping hole at the top of the fitting, its where the flat 2 core wire enters the top, the hole is round, the wire is flat, the gap is quite noticeable, you can fill it with silicone yet its a very cheap item, the text on the advert is not truthful relating to its description, you will shame your BMW plugging this in :)

Only used twice and no longer works. Too late to return
