A wonderful book. Pictures, some I had never seen elsewhere much appreciated.

Photographs faultlessly reproduced on heavy glossy paper. Contains 45 pages of informative text (with accompanying photos), approximately 170 photographs of the John Kobal collection and biographies of photographers.

My husband, the art museum director, asked for this book for Christmas. He was thrilled to get it. The book has thick high-quality pages with nice glossy color pictures. It is definitely a coffee table book or collectors book. You will not be disappointed.

Good service. Delightful book. That cover photo is what originally drew my interest. I didn't even recognize Lana Turner.

First off, I love the John Kobal collection! That being said; I was disappointed by the fact that many pictures in this book have been repeated in other books of his, as I have collected them for the past 40 years. Also, even a few of the rare color photos (and there were no more than 10) have been repeated. I also noticed that a few of the photos were dated wrong. If you're new to the Kobal experience; you really will enjoy this book, but for us "old-timers": a good portion of the book is old news!
