Hamster Bathroom

Both mother and daughter gerbils absolutely love this sand bath! They have started sitting in it at night when watching the tv. They enjoy grooming each other in it and also rolling around in the sand. Fits well in my glass tank for them and is well constructed with some weight to it before you add the sand. The stairs is lovely but it is too packed when both gerbils try to go in the bath together so I have removed the stairs but left the little ledge attached. I don’t think I would need to buy another one as it’s so well made but if I did have to i would buy this bath and from this seller again. Well worth the £20

Good size for a dwarf hamster. Very easy to put together and looks great in the enclosure. The lid keeps it tidy and also provides an extra surface for other enrichment. Really good quality.

Really great sand bath, I love everything about it and so do my gerbils! It is big enough that they can both go inside it together. The acrylic is strong enough that they cannot scratch or chew it, and the lid is sturdy. They have nibbled the lid slightly, but not gnawed it away. It also looks really pretty inside their Bucatstate tank.

Well made and fits nicely into corner. Good design as no sand spills. Lid is made of wood and the base is a quality plastic. Expensive for what it is but a nice addition. Note it is quite large so if you have a small cage, room will be an issue.

Great item very spacious

Bought this as a new sandbath for my two tenrecs. They absolutely love it. I did need to remove the upper level as my larger one kept hitting her head on it and lifting it off. So now we have the ladder hooked to the edge to get out and combined it with another set of toys to have a set of stairs outside to climb down. My tenrecs can get in and out without the steps, but I do see them using them, especially when they are tired. Arrived well packaged to prevent damage. Easy to assemble and feels like good quality of materials = good value for money. Nicely lightweight, so once the sand is added it is still not very heavy and my young son can help with cleaning.

Really good size for my Syrian, he absolutely loves getting in there to dig and bath, plenty of room for him! Really easy to clean too. Only downside is I wanted to take the ladder off as it does take up a lot of room, but the holes it slots into are quite big, could easily get a paw or leg stuck in there, so I’ve kept it in. The lid does also come off when he’s digging in there. But good value for money and a great product other than that.

Easy to assemble, sturdy little thing, fits in the cage nicely. Just the right size for my fuzzy little guys, though I do think a Syrian may struggle in terms of safety as theres very little space from the bottom of the ramp and the side! Certainly better than an open container as it stops the sand from flying everywhere! Good price too!
