I bought this to augment a much more powerful and heavy Fein QX drill/driver. The compact two speed brushless Metabo drill driver is half the size and third of the weight of my Fein. That makes access so easy and the light weight is great when working on a scaffold. It is quiet in use and surprisingly powerful for the size. It's comfortable in the hand. The sensitive clutch and trigger feel is a boon for jobs that require precision and consistent torque control. The bit holder has a strong magnet and is compatible with Festool's Centrotec system. The Metabo set includes the locking angle drive and came at a special price from Amazon. It's impressive value considering the quality of the tool. You get a three year warranty from Metabo when you register it. Recommended!

Can’t fault this drill at all. It’s used daily and the batteries last forever. Feels great to hold and so light. I only use it for screws so can’t comment on it drilling for brickwork. If you need to do that you’re probably better off with a combi/ hammer drill. Woodwork/Assembly wise this is ideal for my needs and would recommend it. I haven’t used the angled drill yet but given the quality of the rest of it I’m sure it does what it’s supposed to.

Previously had a small metabo, but it gave up the ghost last year after 15 years of service. So far so good with this one. Done one large kitchen fit and odds and sods with it the last 2 months. Really like the compact nature and controllability. The multi-angled driver adaptor was invaluable in many situations. Battery lasted ages. Guess we'll see if this one proves to be as durable.

Robust, ultra compact, well made and very powerful. The balance and grip is amazing. Sounds better than competitors as well.
