Nice bag
We got this for my 4 year old for a 3 week camping trip in Africa b/c we thought she would get swallowed by bigger bags. Its a nice size. I just wish it unzipped all the way around the feet. she was out of it by most mornings, so I would say it sleeps pretty warm. Nights only got into the high 40's. This was the most difficult of our 5 bags to get re-sacked.

Good for scouts and backyard camping
Great sleeping bags for my growing kids. They were too big for their small sleeping bags, but don't need full adult sized ones. We go camping and want to keep them warm, dry and padded from rocks- these fit the bill perfectly. They pack away small, which is a huge bonus in our small closets.

My son loves it
We haven't taken it for a trip yet, but my son loves pretending to sleep in it. My daughter's didn't arrive yet, but it was a good sign that they were fighting over the one that arrived. They are 19 months, so there's plenty of room to grow. I tried it out for size, and I might just fit in it if it was fully expanded--I'm 5'2".

warm and cosy
My 4 year old loved it and said that he was warm and cosy all night. It was about 40 degrees so we left it a bit unzipped so that he could stick his arms out. We've had trouble with rectangular bags for kids in the past, they wiggle out or twist them up and then can't get back in without help when they are cold. The mummy style keeps them in better and wiggles around with them. The mesh pocket at the bottom for shoes is a nice feature. The pocket at the top for a pillow (or sweater stuffed in to act as a pillow) is awesome! I wish the adult bags had that feature. The little pocket inside is a great feature too, perfect for a toy and a small flashlight to add some comfort for new campers. The stuff sack is also very nice, with compression straps and a carry handle. This will last for years, I'm 5'3" and I am only slightly too tall and wide for these bags with the gusset at the bottom unzipped.

Durable, comfortable, and my son LOVES it
We've had the bag for a couple of months now and it has seen regular use at my son's insistence. It's high quality with a good zipper and has a nice pocket for him to store things (there's also a pillow "pocket" and a mesh pocket at the bottom for shoes, but he doesn't use those much). We gave it to him for his sixth birthday and it's a little on the big size for a 6-year old, but he fits in it fine and is okay with the extra size. I like that it unzips at the bottom and extends out another 10 inches. Given the good quality, how much he likes it, and the ability to grow with him, I expect this bag will serve us well until he hits high school.Highly recommended. My other kids like it so much that we just ordered my daughter the same sleeping bag (but in pink) for her birthday in a few months.

Poor quality zipper
We did a dry run of sleeping overnight on our deck before heading out on a camping trip and the zipper started pulling apart right away. My daughter also complained she was cold. She's usually a hot sleeper and kicks the blankets off so I was a little surprised. It was in the 50's that night.

Best 3 year old gift ever!
We got this for my 3 year old son as we were camping later that summer. He was so excited when he opened it! It is like a little "fort/tunnel" he can crawl in/out. He loooooooves blue which was even better. He loves snuggling too and he feels so cozy in it. Love that the bottom zips in so it is smaller then you can extend as he grows. My husband and I both have Slumberjack sleeping bags we have had for over 10 years and they are just as good as when we bought them. Warm and soft/silky. Great product!I also like that this has a mesh pocket so you can keep a flashlight and also it has a slit pocket you could slide a small pillow in which I see as being helpful (we just have not used yet).

Slumberjack Go-N-Grow Boys 30 Degree Synthetic Sleeping Bag
Kids liked these sleeping bags but I don't think they are really rated for 30 degrees. We used them camping and it was down to about 40 degrees and the kids seemed a bit cold. Good for our area and tempatures however. The extra length that extends at the bottom will be nice when the kids get taller. I hope this lasts for years!
