Best Ab Exercises: Abdominal Workout Routine For Core Strength And A Flat Stomach [Barrett, Patrick] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Best Ab Exercises: Abdominal Workout Routine For Core Strength And A Flat Stomach Review: Highly Recommend - Well Worth the Money! - A friend recommended this writer to me so I figured I would give him a try. This is the first book I've read by Mr. Barrett, but it won't be the last! I really enjoyed his overall perspective on exercise. The first chapter focused on why the best type of ab workout is one that works your CORE - which includes many other major muscle groups. I liked that because I was really sick of doing sit-ups and crunches to isolate the abs. Mr. Barrett provided so many other options that really DO help strengthen your overall core. And, he includes pictures of the exercises so you can make sure you are doing them correctly. Also, the writer doesn't assume that every person reading this book is a hard-core athlete - he provides variations of the exercises. He explains that you can benefit from doing just a few of the many exercises each day. In other words, he is realistic that not every person who chooses this book reads it just because they want 6-pack abs. I wanted to learn some fun variations to the typical ab exercises - I did! I also got the benefit of learning exercises that strengthen my core AND help relieve my back pain! This book was a quick and educational read! I liked the writing style of this author - he explained things well and made the information fun and interesting. I've already downloaded my next book from the author - Hand and Forearm Exercises - recommended by a friend because of all the work I do on the computer! Hand And Forearm Exercises: Grip Strength Workout And Training Routine Review: Nice - It delivers. Well written, easy to follow directions, good illustrations, no frills prose, sensible Effective, functional, I'd unequivocally recommend it!

This was the worst product experience I have ever had online and the problem was that it was poorly described and badly executed. It was presented as a core training manual, but in order to use it you had to already have a VERY HIGH degree of fitness. The guy that wrote this is deluded if he thinks this would be a useful guide for the average person. I'm 6'0" 160 lbs with 10-11% body fat. I ride a bicycle 150 miles a week and lift weights and do core work 2-3 times a week. I am much above average in fitness and many of these exercises were far beyond my ability. This 'booklet' seemed to be self-published and it desperately needed an outside editor. The text was amateurish and repetitive. I don't usually take the time to do reviews of products, but this purchase was very disappointing. I read thru it. Took it to the gym and worked on each exercise. Many of them (and there are only about 10) were forms that I already used with some variations. But a good percentage were extremely difficult and useful only to someone with substantial strength. I threw the book in the trash. Anyone who could do these exercises did not need the book.

Want Tighter Abs? This could really help.
So, I've actually lost 90lbs over the last 10 mos and I've been feeling alot better. But the weight loss has left me without alot of tone or definition in my stomach area. A friend of mine recommended this book and I thought - hey, why not... I've read a few other books written by Patrick and they've been quick and effective. The content available in this book has been the best I've read so far. The exercises are relatively easy to do and he gives plenty of options to target the abdominal region. Personally, I was injured many years ago and have a hard time putting pressure on my wrist so I really appreciate having a couple of different ways to target my flabby abs without re-injuring myself. Patrick goes into very clear detail on how to execute each one of the exercises and then follows up with some very good recommendations for diet and overall health improvements. I'd highly recommend picking this book up today, implement some of his suggestions and see improvements in just a few weeks. That's what I'm doing and, so far, I'm seeing results.

Book sent fast, arrived in great condition.
For what it is, its okay, good examples and instruction. Very short book. I was expecting something a little more detailed.

Product Review
This little book is full of key moves that will bring into play many muscles as you workout your abs. They are all relatively simple which can be done regularly each week. See these as not burden, but as a way of daily living along with other simple exercise. They will stimulate your core muscles as well as vertebral joints and others, providing movement which will add healthy feeling. I'm 52 and starting to feel different aches due to my martial arts training through the years. Now I have found the importance of keeping all joints in motion through simple exercises. I recommend this book to complement other things you are doing.

Right to the point!
(English is not my primary language) Well, I read a unfair bad review about another book from this author, and decided put my review about this book. This is my second book by this author, and I think that I am able to perceive a method of work in his books: - they are short - they are “right to the point” - they show really good progressions from one exercise to the next level - the harder levels are really difficult. ( look for his book “One arm pull up” ) If you want a book that justify its title and don’t waste you time or money, you will get from this author. If you needs motivation, and like of colored pictures from tattooed shirtless men with criminal looking, or instruction about the old things that even child should know nowadays (myths about spot fat reduction, the problems of fast food, the bad rule of carbs in our diet), look for another books, all for them more expensive, more instructional about general matters, but more basic about the main subject of the title.

Straight forward and easy
This book is a good read for basic core training. Nothing complicated, no equipment needed. Just straight forward and easy to understand instructions (photographs included). Along with basic nutrition information this book is a great starting point for core training.

Great book.

Some exercises are easy and manageable but some are more difficult (something to work at) and some exercises need access to training equipment which I do not have (yet). In general the book is very easy to read and the exercises are described and pictured very well. The book is small enough to read from cover to cover, several times over which is a plus in my opinion. No crunches and no sit-ups in an exercise book about abdominal workout routines, that is a negative in my opinion.

A little paper back book. Pictures are a little blurred and in black and white, but descriptions are clear and easy to follow.

As an oap I wanted to get stronger. I am slowly building up my strength with the exercises in the book. It works and after working on this I can see a change in my core strength which is great. Try it out do not ignore it
