I got this hoping to replace our main hoover as we’re slow renovators and I didn’t fancy wrecking a fancy Bosch one while we often end up with plaster dust around the house. We already have a few DeWalt batteries for other tools so it was good from that point of view. The suction is ok but not super amazing, it just has one setting and is pretty loud as you’d expect for a ‘shop vac’. The battery doesn’t last all that long, I can do the downstairs of our 3 bed terrace (two medium rugs, doormats and stripped wooden floors) then it will need another battery to do the upstairs. The stick attachment is a bit flexible so you can’t really use it with the upholstery type attachment on it. The brush end slides off that attachment too when you’re in the middle of using it which is a bit annoying. Overall it’s fine but I’ll probably get another for bigger jobs eventually, better than having the big cylinder vac out all the time for now.

Great small handheld vacuum. Light, small and easy to hold, well balanced. Perfect for cleaning up if you are only drilling a couple of holes or a little bit of sawdust. Often borrowed by my wife for cleaning the stairs. No need to lug my big site vacuums to a small job. All my tools are DeWalt so plenty of batteries to fit it. Useful carry-bag for all the tools and attachments and the vacuum. No brainer at the price.

I have a lot of DeWalt 18V tools and needed a workshop (Bare) vac cleaner. I was a little worried that it would not be powerful enough for clearing up the floor, but it's great: Easy to just grab (Well balanced) and clear up. It empties easierly and the filter is reasonably easy to clean. I have used most of the various tools attachment and they are OK. The bag that it all comes in is too good! I think I may use it as a ditty bag (Over night bag). Opens up light a doctors bag.Definitely recommend this DeWalt tool
