Fit perfectly!
We looked up the serial and model number from our dryer. This lint trap is exactly what we needed for our dryer! Great quality and the same as our old one!

Perfect fit and excellent value
Fits my 2016 Samsung dryer perfectly. As other reviewers have commented, it’s a little harder to get open than the original one but I don’t mind as my Samsung one was falling apart. The only other difference is that the screen is more of a metal mesh than a fabric mesh so hopefully this will not rust over time. But definitely happy with my purchase vs paying $85 for a Samsung replacement part considering the dryer is probably on its last leg. Would recommend.

Fits Samsung DVE45B6300P/A3
I bought this as a spare for my new dryer as I could see that opening it every week to clean it, will eventually wear it out. This fits, works and looks just like the original.

Learned my lesson: Bought what I don’t need yet!
This product is a duplicate of my current lint trap that still works. So, why did I buy a replacement? Two reasons. I have been burned by manufacturers silently ending parts support before. We keep our appliances for decades. Soooo, this is not truly the manufacturer’s fault. I have learned that at about the 3-4 year mark, I need to examine an appliance for high wear parts that I could likely replace at the 10-12year mark. This lint trap fits that description. To clean it, you have to open it wide enough to a man-sized paw down in it to scrape up the lint. This over-flexes the ‘hinge’ area of the trap. My original trap has already succumbed to material fatigue and broken in this hinge area. The trap’s netting prevents a full failure currently and may keep a full failure from ever happening. May.Growing up on a farm you learn key parts that are clearly vulnerable become ‘unobtainium’ at the worst time. So, stock the part yourself was what my brother and I learned to do. Perhaps consider doing this yourself. On another appliance, I am stuck. No parts available anywhere. If it fails badly enough?? Replace the appliance…ouch.
