it kind of works.
it works, however ive had a few major issues with it. there is no way to collect water and oil. so you MUST NOT USE IT FOR BREATHING AIR. they say their little filter collects it but it saturates the filter and gets through if you're trying to fill anything larger than a tiny paintball tank. a high pressure water and oil separator would be nice.next. trying to fill larger tanks it gets rather hot. and takes a long time. (what can you really ask for for 400 though) be sure to use a big ole 5 gallon bucket of water and put a fan on the pump. i couldnt even use it in the summer heat.finally and most obnoxiously. the auto shutoff with alarm failed on my unit. it worked great for the first 20 fills, then one day i went out to check the tank when it should be done and it had filled my 1800 psi 1.5 cu ft tank to 2800 psi.luckily they can hold a little more than that for hydro testing. but gosh dangit. thats not cool guys. for that i give you two stars. that is a very dangerous failure.and you have to change the oil a lot.i know they dont tell you what to use but do not use regular car oil in it with detergent in it. napa sells 30 weight detergent free oil. detergent collects dirt and water to keep it out of the engine, you do not want detergent pulling that into your compressor! i had to speak with a petroleum engineer friend of mine to find this out.
