Easy to use, great size & thickness, top seals well. The strainer fits perfect on the container and most particles remain in the strainer. My daughter purchased me a couple of cheese cloth bags (from Amazon) put the strainer inside placed it back on the container then poured the oil in, cooking oil looks like it came from a brand new bottle.

Important factors for me were: I wanted stainless steel and smaller size. Happy with product and my choices. Reason for 4 star is simply because it’s a 5 star quality but when I review products I go straight to the lower rated explanations. This even has a curved sprout for pouring & built-in strainer, which is removable.

What's good

Some of the best inventions are the simplest. I’ve never thought to buy something like this, but when you fry chicken like I do it’s needed. Big, filtered, and not an eye sore if you leave it on your kitchen counters as part of your setup. I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else for grease storage again.

I can't get over how ridiculously solid and well made this thing is... it's "industrial" strength. The metal body is thick & heavy, not thin sheet. The strainer is well made, too.Its really overkill for what it does... I could deep-fry food in this container, the bottom is very thick.
