Second joystick does blink red light but two player fighting games like steet fight etc not respnding. how to connect 2nd joystick?

There is no need for any connections, if the joysticks are on, they are working fine for me. some games do not respond to second joystick. change the game and retry, if issue still persists it could be a faulty device.
