Dead on arrival
First unit received failed to do so much as power on. Instructions say "press power button once for ON and twice for OFF" but no matter what sequence or combination of button presses I tried, the power LED light would turn off, come on green for a couple seconds, and turn solid red.. no light being emitted and obviously no picture being displayed. I suspect the lamp bulb or some other circuitry was damaged in transit due to the fact the my phone responds as if it's connected when plugging in via USB. I will assume this is a fluke and will update this review after receiving the replacement unit.there is, however, a major discrepancy between the luminance level of the "10000L" variant listed here.. to define some terms laymen such as myself were unaware of the meaning; lux and lumens both measure brightness, but are not interchangeable or directly comparable in any way.. lumens is the amount of light that falls on it's projected surface, this varies with projection distance and the value drops off as you move outward from center of the image (like the bright circle in the center of a flashlight beam, which gets dimmer approaching the periphery).. lux is the total amount of light the projector is capable of emitting, some of which is scattered "on its way" to the projection surface. Anyways, the product listing title suggests this is a 10,000 lumen (L) projector (not lux, whivh is abbreviated as "lx"). Product images in the listing call out 7500 lux, but on Vilinice's own product page for the VL407 lists lumens output of 8500L.. the only consensus I can find is 10000:1 contrast.. so, I still remain confused what the exact lumens output is here. I would be nice if the manufacturer could clarify this critical product spec, and I find specifying a lux value only further muddies the waters

Not 4K
The projector does not run 4K but it’s definitely worth the price regardless

Hard to connect to Android phone.
My dislike is that it is very confusing to connect to phone, can't find a password and the QR code is invalid when trying to scan.
