Great work out...
I absolutely love this exercise lounger..A great buy and the price was the best I found anywhere and I am a comparison shopper. This is a piece of exercise equipment that will stay as part of my routine as long as I can exercise. It is built well and very sturdy and well constructed. It is a good workout and so enjoyable. I am already, noticing a difference in my waist line. It is so much fun. A best buy for me....Sandy

No excuses now
I have been using my Ab Lounge for about a month. I am amazed at how much easier it is to do these exercises versus the old-fashion way. I have had two children and I am fighting menopausal weight gain, however with this Ab Lounge, I am already seeing results. I keeep it in my office in front of the TV. I do 15 reps twice a night...maybe a few extra if I am up for it. Its a great way to exercise. Definitely a good investment for me. I actually feel like I finally have a fighting chance against the mid-section war...a light at the end of the tunnel. The main thing to remember for maximum results...controled movements and hold the crunch for a few seconds. i wish I bought one years ago.

Too Bulky & Heavy
I purchased the ab lounge 2 online, but returned it the same day. It's too bulky & heavy. I wanted it for my bedroom to use in the mornings while watching the news, but it's too heavy to move around, and it DOES NOT FOLD. I put it together in my living room, and then tried to get it into my bedroom BUT IT WOULDN'T FIT THROUGH THE DOOR. I had to un-screw the bars, fold & pull it through the door. If I had put the AB Lounge 2 downstairs, then I would never use it. Unless you want the "AB LOUNGE 2" to be a "PERMANENT" fixture in your bedroom or living room, then I would order something else. I need this thing to be where I can easily use it & then put it away.......The Ab Lounge 2 is way too big & bulky for that. Unless you have a room where it will remain a permanent fixture, then don't buy it. I'm buying the "Ultra" Ab Lounge because it folds for easy storage....It's more expensive, but to me it's worth the convenience of having the "EASY" storage capability. I don't my exercise equipment to be sitting in my bedroom or living room when it's not in use.

Good but not great--discipline and care needed
This is a pretty good alternative to situps and crunches, but it requires the user to concentrate and focus on the areas in need of development and strength. Sometimes it is hard to tell if it is working just right. After doing reps "until fatigue" as the directions for advanced users suggests, the user will definitely feel it, but these ab exercises don't have the same effect on my abs as real situps do--when I feel ab muscle pain even the next morning. Maybe this is good, but like I said, I am not sure the right areas are being targeted every time I use the apparatus. Important note: this model does not fold completely flat, which may be a storage issue. I am not sure if the higher-end model does, but this one does not. Other than that, it is as advertised.

More chair then lounge but worth the price
Outside of it being for shorter folks (less than 6') and a couple modifications being needed, for the price it is worth it. Having to unscrew a couple bolts in order to fold up the chair was a bit much. I replaced the two rear bolts with clevis pins so breakdown is easier and faster. The lounge makes a little noise when in motion from the connecter on the bungee cord, when I can fix with a little duct tape on the pin that inserts in the cross bar. The maker could have put a rubber tip on it in the first place. Being 6'3" it is not easy to get into different positions show in the dvd but I can get over that by adding a longer strap on the top of the lounge. All of the issues I have with the lounge are minor. It is still a lot better then getting on the ground. I spent ten years in the Army and did a lot of sit-ups and swore when I got out I was not going to do anymore and this helps.

I love it!!
When I first saw this on the TV I was very hesitant. I asked the manager at my gym what he thought about it. He told me he bought one for himself and loved it and urged me to buy one as well. I just received mine two days ago and already I can feel a difference. I got sick of doing crunches everyday. This is portable and also is comfortable. The video that was in package is very helpful and easy to follow. I used it the first day and loved it. When I woke up the next day I could feel the ache of my abs. This proves that it is working. It feels like I had done 300+ crunches when really I did the easy video and only did about 40 jackknifes and oblique exercises. I would recommend this to anyone.

Highly recommend Ab Lounge -- so sorry to hear it is ...
This is my 2nd Lounge 2 Exerciser. Using this daily, reducing calories & walking a mile, I've lost 30 pounds & gone from a size 14 to 12 in less than year. When I learned it is out of production, I purchased another from Amazon for backup. The measurements are 48" long x 24" wide. The top folds over when not in use. I have not experienced any soreness from the exercises & I'm 71! Highly recommend Ab Lounge -- so sorry to hear it is out of production. Hope they bring it back!

You'd better have strength and lots of space!
It works if you work it. Getting it together was sure torture for a woman. It's extremely hard to get out of a door, so you need to take part of it apart. It takes up a huge amount of space, so I'm selling it to a friend with a house. She'll like it, but man...getting it together is just brutal.
