I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this shelf, especially for the price point. It suited our need perfectly. I've got a nice size butlers pantry but one wall didn't have any shelving or cabinetry. It was space we really needed to store drinks, canned goods & bulk items. This shelf fit perfectly in the spot giving us much more storage space in a nicely organized style. It was very simple to put together. The full assembly took under 10 minutes & was easily completed with only 1 person. I'd recommend this shelf to anyone looking for sturdy, easy to assemble shelving. Oh & it's on 4" caster wheels making it easy to move for cleaning behind & under it or if you need a shelf with mobility.

The FOUR INCH casters 30x14x64" five shelf is the one to get. It has a good balance of strength and simplicity. It is the Goldilocks "just the right amount of heavy duty" where weight is not an issue during assembly. An older person or young person of lower body strength should still be able to get the pieces together without a problem. I would not want to test the rated weight capacity, but it is rated so extremely high, I doubt in normal use anyone would need to even approach half the rating. This 64" shelf is not too short, so you are not wasting the height capacity of a normal room, but not too tall, so an average size human frame is still able to utilize the upper most shelf. The 4" wheels should make normal pile carpeting (or room transition bumps) a non issue, where as with smaller casters I would be leery of rolling issues. The wheel locks may not be a normal use-case, but they are there in case of a non level surface. Is also somewhat modular and reasonably quick to take apart in the periodic event of transport to new home in a small car when needed. It is very quick to move one shelf position without having to disassemble the whole unit. Please read the other review which has photos where the user said they have 10+ units. I will likely end up being the same with 10+ units eventually. This other user has them in various rooms suiting various types of items, and I can see why they did so!

After buying something similar, from another well-known retailer, and loving it I decided I wanted to replace one of our dressers but needed it to be within specific dimensions for the closet that it would go in- and the other brand wasn't going to work so I looked on Amazon and this worked out perfectly. Below I have grouped different features about it too hopefully help make it easier to read through. 🟣 My usage: The dimensions happened to be nearly exact to what I was needing and fits great in the spot in the closet. It's mostly being used to store/hold/organize a bunch of jeans, sweats, leggings/yoga pants, etc. It holds so much more than the dresser did since those items were bulky for the drawers but I have limited hanging space so I really like these shelves for the pants. Plus, it held everything from my dresser and left room to put a few bins to store other items. 🟣 Weight capacity: I know it easily holds at least 65lbs (my kiddo stood on the bottom shelf when I was assembling), but seems strong and durable enough to hold much more. 🟣 Assembly: Was simple, with distractions/breaking it took about 20 minutes to setup 🟣 Wheels: I love that it includes wheels, the other brand didn't. You don't have to use them/attach to the shelves, if you don't want to. Plus you can always add/remove them later on, if desired. They maneuver smoothly and function well. Makes it very convenient to move for vacuuming under or just to move it in general 🟣 Cosmetically/Appearance: I think it looks great. There's some areas that could be considered cosmetic "flaws" since they're bumpy texture in the coating (noted in pictures) but I find that to be typical with items like this. 🟣 Overall, I think it's great quality given the cost, durability, wheels are included and because of versatility of what you can do with it. Easy assembly. I'm planning on getting at least one more now... maybe more lol... for other rooms

This shelving unit arrived with a slightly bent shelf. It was factory packaged that way, because the box was undamaged. It was easy to put together with the use of a rubber mallet. The casters roll and turn smoothly. The unit is a breeze to move. The caster brakes are quite stiff to operate; which might become an issue if you need to take the brakes off, move the unit, and put the brakes back on frequently. For my purposes, this rack will be fine. I like it. But I would rate this as lightweight; not heavyweight. It’s NOT “flimsy”, but it’s not as solid as other brands I purchased that were rated for medium weight use. It would never withstand a kid stepping on to even the bottom shelf. I’m thinking my large cat might be able to topple this unless attached to the wall. So if you need something you can really pile weight onto, I would keep looking. If not, this unit is serviceable at a great price.

Ive become a superfan of amazon basics fpr the quality it delivers. These shelves come well packaged and comes also with all you need to install with a manual that is not confusing and even eith out manual it is easily DIY installable. The shining detail of it is that it comes with optional wheels that you can install to give you ease of mind while cleaning behind it or moving it to different place while keeping what on ghe shelves as it moves very sturdy and easily. I strongly recommend it

Cosmetically this is an improvement on the traditional peirced angle iron design. The paint was good and the locating ridges discrete. The tubular uprights are in two pieces and join with a strong threaded connector which is an improvement on the flimsy joiner of the angle iron type. Assembly is also relatively easy providing you read 🤓 and understand the instructions, every piece has a right way up. The unit is stable, even at the start of assembly with just one shelf and one upright and is very stable once all 4 uprights are fitted. A step stool may be required to fit the higher shelves. Take time fitting the locating collets, in the right locations they clip onto the tubular uprights and are then held captive by the shelf. If you have to force things you have not read the instructions; it literally drops together. The thread on the casters and feet is imperial 3/8 inch regular, 1/4" narrow, not 5mm as mentioned elsewhere. The Book Bat's review is a bit over the top but makes an important point. The collets when correctly fitted do not completely meet up but do interlock. After fitting a pair round the upright squeeze them together and rotate them to ensure the internal ridge is seated in a groove of the upright. When the shelf is installed the tapered bushes on the shelf compress the collets. If you understand the instructions it goes together like a dream, no need for any force. The result is surprisingly rigid. If you get it wrong it will not assemble⛔, full stop.

The rolling shelving was needed in my kitchen to hold all my small electricals. This item worked perfectly for that purpose. It is quality made, sturdy, and the black color looks decorative in a kitchen setting.....very good quality. Easy to put together once I knew that the shelves attach lip-down, and the clips holding the shelves are marked top and bottom and snap into locking place. The pieces are all labelled and the picture/directions are simple. Would highly recommend this product for storage shelving. Also like that the shelves can be adjusted height-wise to fit larger and taller then smaller and shorter items.

Lots and lots of little bits of black plastic round things that are only there for packaging purposes fall out everywhere as you unpack. Don't worry you don't need to save them!!! The shelves are very, very sturdy once assembled and roll around easily even with fully stacked shelves. Quite easy to put together on your own and need no extra tools.
