I wanted a way to store some microscope slides that I wanted to keep so our kids can go back and look at things that don't necessarily go back, such as snake or lizard skins they find in the yard. It's nice knowing the slides are protected rather than being tossed around in a box. The price was good and in line for what it is. The quality is decent for being all plastic. The size is good for the number of slides it holds.

Really nice sturdy low-cost microscopic slide holder. Perfect for lots of projects. It's almost like a little book that you can place on your book case. Very happy with this purchase.

The box is well made and looks great; Will be perfect for grandson to store the premade and blank lens; I purchased a handheld microscope, hoping it’ll help get him outdoors more. He is 7.

This box is perfect for anyone studying histology. It matches the boxes used on a hospital research histology lab, and the boxes are made to stack with little plastic extensions. The slides jiggle but each slide rests comfortably in their slot. Two slides can be placed back to back in one slot to add more slides or reduce sliding and noise from the glass slides. The cork bottom is also numbered and to the left of the cork is small embossed numbering (shown in picture from macro lens) hard to see the embossing but it is there for numbering. The box seems very sturdy and made from hard plastic. Will definitely buy again. Fits my budget and my slides.

This is only good for standard sized slides. The little shelving things inside are too small for this to fit the smaller (shorter) slides...and that's very disappointing to me because my kid has about 50 of the smaller slides and those are the slides I actually got this for.

I bought this based on other reviews. The box itself is made of hard plastic and very sturdy. It is well made, locks the lid securely in place and hasn't loosened when transported from A to B (stored vertically in my bag).The slots for the glass slides are also sturdy, keeping them in place. They are just wide enough to store two glass slides in each slot. I've stored mine singly and there are 100 slots. The lid has a lined card where you can write down the sample number of each slot. Overall it is a very useful box for storing microscope slides and at a fantastic price. I would definitely recommend buying.
