Samsonite Luggage Strap, Black, Combination Lock

I have owned this product for 3 years now. I have used this belt for many trips on my checked luggage, and it is just now starting to show wear. The lock and mechanism continue to function correctly, and I have had no issues with TSA taking it off when they need to do a more thorough look through my checked bags. I have also had no issues with unlocking or opening my luggage belt in all this time. This belt has held up under immense pressure from my overly packed luggage and remains secure. It is nice to feel that even if a zipper breaks on my bag that it will remain shut. The color was as described, and it is long enough to wrap around an full-sized, expanded, checked bag.

Best luggage straps that I have ever purchased . They have survived 6 international flights so far. They stay on firmly and what's great, they can be locked.

I owned a couple of these but different color before and gave then to my guest because they needed it. Love the color. Combination is easy to set up. Also easy to adjust size to fit my bag. To secure it, you should put it through handles.

Reviews are right that someone can adjust the belt once locked and even take it off if you use on a smaller suitcase. However it is still a effective product with some tweaks. 1) I will be using two straps/locks and crisscross them on each large suit case. 2) I also will find a way to make sure that that a potential thief can't change the length of the strap. 3) Understand that if they have a TSA key, they would be able to open all of them. The point is to slow them down so they will move on to another piece of luggage. I also think of it as an extra safety if the zipper breaks in transit. I ordered a total of six for three large suit cases.

Excellent way to secure luggage in the event zipper is compromised or as an identifier on the luggage carousel.

I use these straps to lock my luggage when I check in the luggage. I also use it to lock the luggage in the hotel. I have the hard-shell zipper-type luggage. After seeing videos of people opening the zipper with a pen and then zipping it back, the regular luggage locks are basically useless. This strap makes it harder to break into the luggage. This is TSA-approved so I can also use it for my check-in luggage. The bright color also helps me spot my luggage at the carousel. Overall, really happy with the purchase.

100% satisfied. Worked exactly as I wanted. Held the luggage together and added an extra layer of protection against sticky fingers on the airport conveyor belts. Also made it easier to identify at baggage claim.

Bought 2 of these (different colors) as well as 2 different ones with out locks for our luggage on a 3 country month long trip. I wanted to do carry on only, but the wife wanted to bring back gifts for people, plus cheap clothes from Thailand. These look to be sturdy for luggage, can you tie down a car on a trailer with it? No. but to keep your luggage from busting open when the gorillas at the airlines jump up and down on the luggage, yes I think they will work just fine. The locks are ust for keeping honest people out as changing the code is as east as flipping a switch. so if you want to secure your luggage to keep everyone out, ductape I do see that the straps would slip if someone (baggage handlers) use the straps to pick up and throw the luggage. but to solve that issue, set the straps to the size you want, un buckle it and then sew the strap at the adjustment loops. Problem solved! Or if you do not want to or know how to sew (like me) wrap the strap with ductape, my wife did not like that idea, she sewed mine. The other alternative to these straps is ductape, I wanted to make Red Green proud!

Unbelievable. Samsonite tsa luggage strap for only £10, with white pattern to make it interesting. Strap is heavy duty , durable, with 'teeth' in the buckle lock to stop strap movement when locked. I am ecstatic to have found this well know brand at this price.

Depois que meu irmão teve a alça de bagagem dele cortada na Europa para uma inspeção, a mala ficou sem alça, jogaram a mala dele pra lá e pra cá, a mala dele quebrou e as coisas ficaram espalhadas pelo aeroporto, falei: "Deixa comigo!". Comprei essa alça de bagagem da Samsonite que eu já tenho há anos, COM CÓDIGO TSA (tudo de bom!), assim os agentes de fiscalização que precisarem abrir a mala dele ou da minha mãe só mezem no código e colocam a alça de volta no lugar sem que a mala fique depois sem proteção.
