inexpensive but do the job. bought for cutting the sprue on model kits. This tends to rapidly blunt the blades so you get about a year out of a set before you need to replace them. These are accurate and well made so they should do the job for a similar length of time as other ones and they are a good price.

I've recently been trying to find the best value small flush cutters like this, and ordered 6 sets with a view to sending 5 of them back once I'd worked out which were best. I evaluated these and a few other brands against each other. Finish and feel: 5 Cutting edge alignment: 3 Pivot quality: 3 Cut quality: 4 Finish and feel is the quality of construction and how the tool feels in hand. 5 is good, 1 is crap. Cutting edge alignment is how well the cutting edges meet, 5 for extremely precise, 1 for overlapping badly or having gaps. Pivot quality is a measure of how much if any free play there is in the bearing or pivot. Free play is bad because it causes misalignment of the cutting edges with respect to each other. The best pliers have zero free play. 5 is good, 1 is wobbly as hell. Cut quality is how well the blades cut, how nice of a slice they make on something like a cable tie. 5 is good, 1 is awful. So for these particular flush cutters, well I am returning them because despite one pair of them being almost perfect in alignment terms, and the other having almost zero play in the pivot, neither of them had both of these. Still they're not bad for the money.

As an electrician I was looking at getting the Knipex flush cutters but these were half the price and they are well worth it, they appear to be good quality and are great for trimming cable ties flush,

Seem fine for light jobs i don't think they would suitable for big jobs i am using them for modelling and they are fine

Je l'ai utilisé pour couper du fused clapton 3x28 en nichrome, ça a coupé proprement une fois, le fil de lame de la pince est déjà émoussé. La seconde coupe de test pour du simple fil 24 gauge en Kanthal, coupé un peu plus prés du moyeu de la pince, pareil le fil de lame émoussé, quand on sert la pince on voit un trou entre les deux lames ...
