Short, sweet directions to program. Followed directions, programmed three (3) remotes without problems and all buttons function well in the time frame given. Very happy with results as this saved me tons of money by being able to skip the dealership and I have two (2) uses available if I need to do this again. Battery included, durable, hard plastic housing seems it will hold up nicely. 2012 GMC Denali.

I got this 5-button keyless entry remote and it does exactly what it says, super easy to use. The instructions were clear, and I confirmed with a YouTube video for extra confidence. I programmed four key fobs, and they all work great for unlocking the vehicle, popping the trunk, and using remote start to crank it. Not the product's fault, but due to my poor research, I didn’t realize these fobs don’t program the key transponders needed to start the vehicle with the key in the ignition, which triggers the security system. If you want to program the key transponders, you’d need an extra service costing about $175 or more. Great for creating extra key fobs without a key built in, just not for replacing the full functionality of factory ones for cranking the vehicle.

This remote activator worked perfectly. I followed the instructions and was able to activate 2 spare remotes and all of the functions worked. I would like to recommend this seller and this product to anyone that only has one remote starter. But be specific when ordering for your vehicle model.

First, this is more than worth the price! At first, I couldn't make it work, however. I reached out to Dorman tech asst. I was chatting with the tech support person, who asked some questions. Turned out, that a couple weeks prior, I got a nail in my tire, and got a warning message, that left a code in the computer. I used my reader, to get rid of the code, (It would have gone away on it's own, but I was not able to drive much, due to an emergency surgery, right after getting the tire issue fixed.) Once I got rid of the code, this worked perfectly! Now I have multiple fobs, all programmed to my 2012 Buick Enclave, so I don't have to worry about it, if I lock my keys inside again! Now, besides the product that is great, I want to shout out, to Dorman tech. support, because they are awesome, professional, and very fast to help! Thank you!

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe, and, wow, this actually worked! I didn’t think I’d be able to do this on my own, but it was easy. I saved lots of money compared to the auto parts place that I went to first, and no telling how much my local auto repair shop would have charged me.

Our 2011 GMC Yukon is one of the few models that does not allow the owner to self-program the keyless entry fob. I failed to do my homework before purchasing two fobs from Amazon. When I couldn't find the program entry on the dash display panel I researched the problem, found the alternate method of holding the door lock button down on the door panel while quickly turning the ignition key twice. That didn't work either. That's when I searched my local auto part store and found this item-----for $138. Looking into Amazon the exact same device was half the price. It works like a charm. Programmed three new fobs and the original in less than two minutes. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the directions say you are limited to 3 sessions with the device. Well, we've had the vehicle for 14 years and this is the first time we've had to use such a device, so I guess we've got 28 more years left.

Worked as advertised. Easy to program

This worked perfectly on my 2014 GMC Acadia Denali. Turn on the ignition (don’t start the car). Plug this into the OBD port. It will beep and dash will display program key fob. Hold lock and unlock at same time. It beeped again. Tried the fob and all the functions worked. I had time to program three fobs. All worked flawlessly.
