Only lotion I trust and use.

I am a LMT of 25 years. With that experience, I am also fairly picky about the products I use. I know what companies have quality products, what works for me & my style of massage, and what products will be pleasing for the client from a scent (or lack there of) & hydration standpoint.I work in a spa setting, but I do fairly deep pressure, so this crème works great for my needs. I also am still in the habit of staying away from straight oil, after all the years I worked for chiros & PT’s. I just dislike to leave someone feeling drenched in oil with slippery feet. Lol.Biotone is a very established brand, that never disappoints. There is nothing to say except it does exactly what it says it will do… glides without being greasy, has just enough moisture for the client’s skin, and let you get into the muscles to perform deeper tissue massage effectively. The scent is minimal, and pleasant. I cannot say enough good things about Biotone. The only drawback is the price point sometimes, but you obviously get what you pay for. Especially when it’s being absorbed into the biggest organ of our bodies— the skin :)

Great product but overpriced. New massage therapists, try Soothing Touch (not the basics line) it is hypoallergenic/paraben-free and runs about $20 less per gallon than Biotone.

I'm a massage therapist and I prefer lotion over oil. This gives a good glide, but soaks into the skin well. Doesn't leave the skin greasy.

I have been doing massage full time the last 5 years and on and off for 20 years. I have tried many other brands trying to save money... they all are greasy or difficult to work with. Biotone is the best lotion I have ever used. I have tried several of their products from solid creams to heavier lotions. I find this Deep Tissue Lotion great for doing Heavy Swedish / Deep Tissue work and yet so light that I don't have to wipe a client off when I go from doing surface work on a client to having to put an elbow into a connection point and worry about my elbow slipping. Always happy with it. If you microwave it to warm it... I find 30 seconds is the best, otherwise it becomes too watery and hot to work with.

Biotone used for my massage practice

As a deep tissue massage therapist, this is the only lotion I use (unless of course a client has a nut allergy). Still haven't figured out how to get it from the gallon into my lotion bottles without a funnel and 15 minutes of my day, but well worth it :-) It starts out as the perfect consistency for effleurage, then starts to get slightly tacky which works great for deeper work. Wouldn't mind finding an alternative Biotone deep tissue lotion that is free of almond oil on those rare occasions that I need it!
