Comfortable and tracks well
For small hands this is a comfortable mouse; it responds well - you don't have to wiggle about it to get it tracking! Can't comment on battery life as only just got it. Overall, pleased with purchase.

Comfortable and responsive. Well worth price.

Very comfortable ergonomic mouse
I bought this Kensington Pro Fit Ergo Wired mouse two weeks ago because of wrist pain and find it to be a very good ergonomic mouse. It is well-made, the shape is very comfortable and the handling is very good.I found that the half-vertical angle of the mouse is perfect: it is enough to alleviate wrist discomfort and makes it much more natural and precise to use the click buttons than a fully vertical mouse (I tried them). A fully vertical mouse is imprecise, because you move it around with the whole forearm and you click sideways, which is unstable. I find it much more precise to click down than sideways. The shape of the mouse is similar to that of the Perrix Perimice 519 mouse, which I also have. Compared to the Perimice mouse, the Pro Fit Ergo has a palm rest at the back, which I personally find unhelpful and makes the mouse less nimble to use. What I like with this type of ergonomic mice is I can move them just with the front of my hand and fingers, while keeping my wrist resting on the mat at an angle. It doesn’t matter if you have big hands, you just use the front of the hand and not grab the mouse completely. The palm rest doesn’t particularly help this.Other points:- I love the silent click.- The silent wheel is great, but scrolling is not super fast.- I like the lightness of a wired mouse: less effort, swifter.- I wish the plastic cover of the two click buttons had a rubberised/textured finish instead of smooth.Overall, I find it very good to use, but the handling is not quite as good as the Perrix Perimice 519 mouse, or the wireless version Perimice 819, which are my favorite mice to alleviate my wrist pain.

Lovely shaped strong mouse.
I cannot fault this mouse, I've bought it twice now. Sits nicely in the palm and is a really great quality. I've dropped mine several times onto hard surfaces (by accident, not to test) and the mouse has never stopped working. It doesn't drain batteries and it connects to the laptop instantly.

Kensington Mid Size Mouse
I started out with a Kensingtom mouse after the ball type were a pain. I've used them ever since and Kensington recommended I bought the mid size as a female user when a full size one finally went kaput. I find them excellent and wouldn't want to switch to another make.

Perfect
I ordered the mouse because I am one of those old-fashioned people who use it separately, as opposed to the touch pad, but plugging in the cable was a nuisance. There was no setting up and it's all so much easier now.

Great value robust!
The pricing point of this mouse is about right, the quality is there and would last if you are clumsy and drop it on the carpet a few times. ergonomically it's comfortable if you have larger hands it still should be comfortable. Battery life was excellent. It's Kensington brand so highly reliable brand throughout the years with experience and knowledge with hardware.

Scroll wheel failed after 6 months
This was fine while it lasted. But after 6 months scrolling became erratic, and sometimes wouldn't happen at all. This seems due to the wheel being loose on the spindle that connects to the electrical sensor that sends the scrolling signals. No more Kensington products for me. Shoddy design and manufacture. I've had cheap £10 mice that lasted better.
