This fits a 2011 dodge durango and only the spare tire has to be dropped for an easy install.
The media could not be loaded. This is the second one I am installing due to rust out on the first. I live in a salt in winter state and after 8 years The tube was rusted enough I did not want to chance a problem. I installed this my self on my 2011 Dodge Durange and it fits just as it should. I did not have to drop anything but the spare tire ( I have a full size tire and rim as a spare. This is held on by four large bolts that came with the car so no hardware was needed. Put NEVER SIEZE on your bolts and tighten them securly. I never seized them the first install and if I had not There was one I am pretty sure I would not have gotten out due to salt corrosion. You will need a half inch long handle ratchet or a breaker bar and pipe if you are doing this yourself. The bolts are M14x2.0 and about 38MM long if you need to replace yours. They are 8.8 grade so that or 10.9 grade should do the job. I had to chase the threads on the bolt that was difficult to remove.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great fit, looks, packaging. Super Easy. Read for some useful tips
I think the tubulars look better than square. Has nice high gloss powder coat. Other reviews complained about delivered in just paper wrap so I was slightly worried about scratches (that will rust) but then it showed up... it was in an Amazon box but inside that was the Curt 1/2in thick double box and blown foam bag. Maybe others got a refurb or maybe Curt (over) responded to complaints but I've had plasma TVs delivered in less secure packaging. GOOD JOB CURT! Instructions are clear and amount to remove four bolts, maybe scrape a bit of caulk back, mount and tighten bolts. Super easy. Torque to 128lbs. I'd recommend a torque wrench but suppose you could just crank down about as hard as possible, but torque wrenches are not pricey. Tip: it calls for a 22mm socket which most folks aren't going to have but what you may have is a 13/16. They are the same size. Tip: never use a torque wrench to remove bolts, you will ruin it. A 3/8 will likely snap. To remove the bolts use a breaker bar or what I did which is a wrench and a hammer. Few whacks and it was loose enough to finish out with a ratchet. Tip: Put a blanket down as this thing is heavy and you don't want to scratch it and have rust start before it's time. Tip: I searched a long time for the wiring harness before I realized all 2014 Jeep GCs come with 7 wire plug installed. Nice to have adapter to common 4 wire and the part number is 55515. See reviews for wire- not confirmed but another review said the car computer needs set in order to turn on the power to trailer plug (a great tip that could save TONS of time and frustration- if true). I plan to use a 2in drop but flip it for a 2in rise. It hangs low but I don't see any problem. it could maybe be a touch tighter to bumper but not a big deal. For the same price I'd love a factory hitch but this was a fraction of the price and took 10 minutes.

Super easy
You just take the 4 bolts out from the frame, slide this in place and tighten them back down. No issues, came I'm good condition and install was very easy. I haven't actually towed anything yet but I feel confident about it. It also has some heft to it, which feels like quality to me.

Curt Hitch On 2012 Durango.
-I bought this as an open box item. It said the packaging was damaged and had some scratches on it. Guys... it's a hitch. I bought it for $70 thanks to poor handling from the package carriers and some person who thought a hitch should come perfect if they paid $125 for it haha sooooo anyways, win for me.-I drive a 2012 Dodge Durango Crew AWD.-This hitch is made to go underneath the bumper, not through it. I didn't have a hidden hitch bumper so I didn't even want to deal with cutting bumpers and finding a compatible OEM bumper for it. This works justttttttttt fine.-It arrived in the condition it said it would, scratched a little bit.-I would recommend a 2 person crew with some muscular fortitude. In other words, don't bring your 10 year old son to hold it up.-I did this by myself. I bought out jack stands to use to balance this while I removed the 4 bolts that are on the Durango and then mounted this while screwing back in the bolts. It's that simple... So anyways, I got underneath my Durango and without removing the spare tire I got all 4 bolts out. I was unsure about the fit at first but once I angled everything correctly I slap-bumped this hitch into place. It didn't take a lot of force but when it slid into place, TO MY DELIGHT, it stayed exactly in place. So I kept a hand up incase it slipped until I started threading a bolt on each side. Then, I finished putting the bolts in.*recommendation- take the time to lower the spare tire so you have adequate room to maneuver your arms, elbows, wrists, and hands. Trust me. It's ALOT easier to lower the spare tire than it is to take the tiniest baby turns with a wrench putting these bolts back in. Other than that, wonderful product, snug fit, I've only pulled a few small utility trailers so far but regardless I've had no issues.
