Does what it says
I bought this product for my 98 Chevy S10. It fits great, and it's nice not to have to lift my door up to close it anymore. It doesn't really look exactly like the picture, but I think that's just a generic picture for all the hinge kits. Make sure you put it in from the bottom for the top hinge if yours is like mine. There isn't room to do it from the top, and your hammer can slip and crack your windshield if you're not careful. Otherwise it's a no brainer to put in. All you'll need is a hammer and some pliers.

Bushings fell apart.
If I could give this product ZERO STARS I would. JUNK!!!!! The repair kits arrived and I noticed one package was taped up and missing the black retaining ring and that they weren't the same kits I received when I repaired the drivers side door. After removing the old pins and bushings I began to install the new bushings the same way I installed the bushings on the drivers side door when I repaired it. As soon as I began to tap the first one into place it crumbled. Then the second one crumbled. I opened the second pack and was able to install those to bushings in the hinge. At this point the vehicle is not operable because the door isn't attached and I don't have enough bushings to finish the repair. I ended up reinstalling the old bushings on the bottom hinge that were all marred up from removal but were made from brass not some sort of junk brass/white metal mixture. When I installed the bottom pin it went in fine, in the old original quality completely brass bushings. When installing the top pin the two top (BRAND NEW JUNK BRASS/WHITE METAL) bushings fell apart inside of the hinge. I now need to find new bushings from somewhere else that aren't junk and repeat the work I thought would fix the issue today. If I didn't need the pins to hold the door on I would return them to Amazon.

Door hinge pin
First of all, I never did something like this before until now and it had to be done. In my situation the bushing was broken on top. So, I opt not to by bushing removing tools or pin remover. I took 2 screw driver popped the retaining clamp and a small chisel broke the rest of .The top bushing od was a little bigger then my door post hole, is this normal I don't know. I grease od of the top busing, and used a socket of same od with extension, tap it went in smooth, I broke the bottom bushing with the chisel and the new bushing went in with no trouble maybe because hole was a little oblong from leaning. I bought 2 just in case. Good product for the price, and it worked well for me. Do u need the removing tools I can't say.

Good quality item at a reasonable price!
An exact fit. Usually the drivers door hinge bushings go out before any of the others. After 27 years my 1994 S10 was in need of repair. For the home shop mechanic I recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos. I found it easier to use a cinch strap over a beam through the window frame to support the door while changing the pins. And I bought the $7 spring clamp too...Good luck with your work project!

OK for 5 bucks.
Buy two even if you think you only need one. Both your hinges will have wear and when you do the work for one, it is really easy to access the second at the same time. Did it help, yes. My door closes well. Would I buy them again, maybe. The bushings are very brittle material. the flange broke off with a gentle tap on one of them and then the rest of it crumbled, yes crumbled into pieces. One out of the other pack also broke far too easily on the flange portion. YOU must tap these into place so the flange must be able to withstand a tap! I had to use an old one to get the door back on BUT it seems the wear was in the pin more than the bushing - which makes no sense. You will also have some wear in the non bushing hole that the pin goes through on the door side. NO simple repair for that. But for 10.08 and 30 minutes of labor, my door closes very well. Watch the you tube videos to have a better plan. I used a floor jack with a board with a pad to lift the door and a rope through the open window and up over the rafter to be a back up plan. It helped to balance it. I did not remove the doors electrical rubber boot either, just ease the door back just enough and it should stay on and help to balance the door as well. Depending on the cost of factory pins, if they are even available, I will consider the higher quality units if I do it again. But these will give you a quick cheap fix.

Fits excellent exactly what I needed.
Perfect kit for replacing the door pins on my gmc jimmy, and any one that owns one is for sure going to have to do door pins, just make sure you don't need oversized pins.

Exactly what you need to fix that sagging door
Make sure you take the time to look at your current pin before changing it out, it's very important you install it the same way it was OE. Good product. Does its job.
